Although quiet a bit older than me I was friends with Ken Lockwood who was interned in Colditz, I spent many hours listening to his gripping stories of his time spent as a Pow. RIP Ken, we owe so much to your generation.

Kenneth Lockwood's joy on seeing his jelly printer work again. Some unintentional humour - after describing how the papers were secreted we get - "the escape officers' final task was to prepare their exits." Saucy.

Hi Derek, thanks for the comment. I don't even know if there is a video to purchase, as I digitized this version from a VHS copy off the telly! Sorry I couldn't help.

I hate all the escape films and TV, nearly all British POWs were digging coal in Polish mines, many from 1940 until late 1944 when they were marched west, many dying on the way.
