I Remember this game! my first Playstation 2 game when i was a kid i remember the game always used to confused me i would spend hours and days on it trying to figure out what to do next :) they don't make games like theses anymore!

for monkey island 5*** I've done very game of the monkey island series, i've heard every single talks, every songs, i know them all by hearth, it's really a great game, a game like that is really rare now, its only blood and guns now... =/ Monkey island is really my favorite game of all!, old, but still good. the MI3 is realy the funniest and the coolest!!, recommand to all try this game, seriously, its jsut really great,

Eukalyptos18- What you heard was true. There is one thing u might not know. That thing is that LucasArts is making a whole new Monkey Island series called: Tales of Monkey Island. The first game, Launch of the Screaming Narwhal, is being released this year on July 7th. I am a big Monkey Island fan. My favorite is The Curse of Monkey Island.

@mb111488 It wasn't easy to find out why, but I found out that the company didn't contact UK actress Alexandra Boyd for voicing Elaine for this game. They cast American actress Charity James for it, but Alexandra Boyd voiced Elaine for Tales of Monkey Island (via Skype) and voiced Elaine for the Special Edition of Monkey Island 1 and 2. Monkey Island 4 received criticism for Alexandra Boyd not doing Elaine's voice.

Good.... lord. I love the Monkey Island series god holy crap these graphics hurt. I hate when good franchises try and keep up with the times TOO much, and end up with an ugly mess like this. I like Curse of monkey island's graphics. They were advanced, yet quaint. I guess there's a reason this was the worst game in the series.

I have the install files on my computer, but I had forgotten they needed the discs to play them : / since it has been a while. But the problem is, I cant find the discs anywhere. So now Im stuck with a fully installed Monkey island 4 game on my computer, but I cant play. Is there any way to get it to play without the discs??

@theninjaweirdo not even that, the monkey kombat mini game was somehow enteraining compared to the rest of the game. The real downfall was the Story overall. Some Australian dude who is the real nemesis and controls even leChuck???? C'moooon!

@lordofbritain For me, MI was improving greatly from 1 to 2 to 3. The style was unlike anything I had seen at the time. MI4 was slightly weird in the storytelling, though the plot was still interesting. Tales brought my interest back.

first one is the best. then the third. then the second. at least in my opinion....4th one...yeah, not a fan, it's horrible. i didn't like the third one either when it came out, but it turned out great.

This is the PC version yeah, but I don't think there are any differences between the versions.

@kathryntovey92265 I believe you have to look at the brazier (I think you can switch between the things you look at with the Page Up and Page Down buttons when there's several things nearby, but I may be incorrect) and then press the U button. I think I had a hard time figuring that one out myself as well when I first played it. :3 Basically I = inventory, U = Use and P = Pick up most of the time!
