You probably lost FPS due to AntiAliasing in scope. Squad has been doing that to me recently whenever I ADS.

Yea, afaik This new PvE mode is not well implemented yet and I think spawning npcs is what causes random drops of 50 fps for a beat. If I play pvp, the game runs smoothly on every map except for parts of streets. So Tarkov being Tarkov i guess

I haven't tried PVE yet. does the AI move around the map or stay in the "scav" spawn areas.

Its rough as far as the ai pmcs, but in this video you can see them moving towards the lumbermill in the middle of woods. Alot of fighting in spawns or near them otherwise. The scavs seem to act like pvp some camping scav areas and moving towards sounds etc. edit: They are planning an update to pve ai in the future as well.
