yes you are right. Not living permanently at the cabin yet, I don't feel like taking risks, especially away from my wife who might also need me.

You're right, 4 or 5 miles like that in the snow is a long time, and there's no other way to help me in case. If the cabin had been ready in terms of insulation and food I would have stayed, but being so far from my wife, I preferred to give up

Malheureusement la neige avait enterré les caméras que j'avais laissées, mais j'ai tout restauré et maintenant c'est revenu à la normale. Merci de m'avoir attendu, ça fait plaisir de relire les commentaires. Ils m'aident beaucoup !

You have to invest in tools and accessories. Snowshoes, hiking sticks, good boots. Be more aware where your cabin is. Be prepared. Have always food for 3-4 days at the cabin, dry cloths and so on. Saw a few videos now, you were always leaving the cabin due weather. You have to adapt and buy stuff to make it possible to be there. If not you should only stay in summer there.
