This was cool. I love how the Trees take a random growth path. Nothing brought more dread than the shutters opening and a Seed being one of the first things out. And of course the Box Trees had me dying. I guess the Seeds ate _anything_ they touched and used it to propagate.

Keeping in mind there is a constant population of marbles appearing from the surviving varieties of marbles; and that rather randomly some marbles are mutated into trees/killed by the trees until some varieties dominate the rest I cannot believe a marble race can represent essentially genetic drift surprisingly well

Won't lie this would be a good premise for a movie... Biologically mutant trees infesting people and forcefully erupting their bodies/corpses out into a swift-growing tree capable of killing any humans with a tough... the fruit flying and rolling before latching onto a survivor waiting to take root and expand into a tree... only to produce more fruit to fling out.

Treegasm That being said, as much as I enjoy the game (especially the extremely chaotic 3rd round), this is one of the few instances where there's too many rounds. Or that it goes tad too long. The best gold standard for increasingly aggressiveness with multiple rounds without overstaying nor being premature is IMO the mosquito survival.

This would actually be horrifying, a seed barely scrapes on the back of a fellow survivor, they drop nearly instantly as a tree nearly instantly Bursts out of their back, killing them instantly, the new tree Fires more seeds at the fellow survivors- One nearly grazes you. People are dropping left and right, All desperate to reach the rocket at the end to survive- The rocket takes off... *And you notice a seed in the corner.*

i just imagined what this idea could be as a horror movie. imagine, you find a single seed, and the moment it touches a person it sprouts a tree that throws its seeds everywhere, but only if the body touches soil. so it would start in a lab, where trees dont really grow that fast, then go through the city, and thats where the fun begins, because the main crew tries to escape the city, but then they notice a gigantic wave of trees going in their direction, and then they realise that the trees need nutriens and soil to grow and all the land around the city is just farmland, and so the trees grow almost instantly and 5-6 stories tall, and start dumping seeds the size of a car everywhere, and those sprout the moment they hit the ground. and in the end it is revealed that they were on a different planet from earth and go back, but as the crew celebrates the camera zooms in on a little seed hooked to the MCs shirt. and the name would be "The green uprising"
