oooh its so awesome to see u three play this game! tips to help you out! you can use your right mouse button to scan! the bestiary can have a loot of info on the monsters you see. type 'bestiary' on the terminal to find that out. its usually better to have one person stay on comms & to buy radios for all of you. you can type 'view monitor' to be able to view your teammates (so one person can act as a guide to get loot, like the triangles!), 'scan' to check how much items will be on the map, 'switch' to switch who you're viewing, & you can hack any doors from inside the factory/building to be opened + disable turrets. both have a two-letter code to be able to disable them. (be wary that the disabling turrets feature only works for a few seconds, so vamoose while you can.) have one of your teammates get a shovel/big ol sign to protect any one of you. also, when there's a monster nearby, get atop the railings so it would be better to get. on getting loot, its easier to be able to leave things by the entrance so it would be an easier haul back. storing loot in the red cabinet helps + storing equipment because you can definitely lose your loot if you don't place it down. and for the apparatus, as it definitely powers out the entire place, get it last. monsters can absolutely spawn in the dark, so be cautious. as for the steam, the valves for it are found in the center or where said steam comes from. as for the more harder maps, titan is usually the better map to take location wise, as they can have so much loot. but ofc they WILL have higher dificulty. sometimes buildings spawn in huge monsters. if you see a mannequin-like figure, that's the coil-head. make sure not to break eye-contact with it since it can move if you don't look. further more, if you see a monster like a jack-in-the-box, that is the jester. EXIT THE BUILDING ASAP because that thing, no matter how far away you or your teammates are, it can hunt you down and find your precise location and kill you. also, on harder maps, there can be a ghost girl that can spawn in and haunt one of your teammates and if she touches you you're basically good as dead. for that ghost-girl to show up, one of the following can happen: hearing breathing, hearing a child laughing, and a child greeting you. here's a bit more for the monsters. centipedes, hoarding bugs, bunker spiders CAN be killed if you're smart & quick about it. snare fleas can drop down from the ceiling, and if you're caught, you better make sure someone has a shovel to whack it off of ya. spore lizards are more or less fine because they don't necessarily bother you unless threatened; thumpers, on the other hand, often listen to noise, and they look like sharks crawling. if you CAN, make sure to lure it onto the railings of a nearby stairway within the building and hit it with a shovel/sign. however, there's also what is called a 'bracken', known as flower man. it's usually seen lurking in the shadows and only it's eyes can be seen. just ignore said monster and don't look at it, as these things can snap your neck and scurry off w/ a teammate's body. if you're well equipped, though, you can get a zap-gun to stun it, & then shovel it a bunch. be careful! the dogs (the t-rex & the eyeless dogs) are found in the nighttime part of the planet. just be quiet and don't make any noise. when it's nighttime, there will be giants (forest keepers) lurking around at night (found in vow, march, dine, rend, & titan). make sure your flashlights and radios are turned off. do not make yourself visible by any kind, no loud noises, nothing. because when that thing spots you it WILL follow you no matter what, as it can cut you off, camp near you, etc. the beehive can have a lot of money for it. its better to have it moreso at the end. have one person lure the bees away + get the bee hive and leave it at the ship's railings! if you have a looot of money saved up, i recommend you to get the reverse teleporter to be able to get your teammates out by going to the cams monitor on the ship (the two buttons!) and teleporting said person back to the ship IF they are getting out of a dire situation with the red button. it also saves money and your pay will not be deducted, but for the teleported teammate they won't be able to get any items back. and as for fulfilling your quota i heavily recommend getting a LOT of scrap, saving just enough for the quota, then not completely spending the rest (as you can save that for the next quota). all facilities/buildings within all maps have the main entrance and fire exits more or less near. here's an overview of ALL maps steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3075328887 lastly, make sure to charge your flashlights & radios. don't turn on the radios UNTIL you go into the building so it can save up electricity. get all of the smaller objects first before getting heavier objects as the latter takes up a lot of space! have fun and happy travels, company employees. hope this helps for the next time you play! edit: clarified abt the bestiary section
