WE LOVE SINGAPORE
Since we are a travel channel, here's some facts from our (very small) part of the world - the sunny island of Singapore!
1. Singapore is not in China - we lie on the equator with an average humidity of 80%.
2. Singapore's original land mass was 581.5 sq km, expanded by reclamation to 721.5 sq km as it is today.
3. We have a population of 5.8 million.
4. We are a multi-racial country with 76.1% Chinese, 15% Malay, 7.4% Indian, 1.5% Others (2016 est.)
5. Singapore emerged as the world's safest country in the 2018 Gallup's survey.
6. Singapore's Changi Airport won the title of the world's best airport, sixth year in a row, in Skytrax World Airport Awards 2018.
7. Singapore is famously (or infamously) known to be a very clean and fine city, where chewing gums are banned.

I always wanted to see how they outfitted these vans. Thank you. If they were just not painted like this, would be a perfect stealth camper. But I suppose the vivid paint job is cheap advertising. I will try one of these this fall, or the mini-van option. Want to try before I buy.

Did you find the below storage areas stayed cooler or warmed up? (curious about storing some extra food/water that we wouldn't want warming up as much during the day) Thanks!

Hi Nadine, unfortunately won't be able to give much useful input here - we only stored water there and if we are to stretch our memory, did not warm up much, probably due to the mostly cooling weather in fall.

Do you think the space in between the mattress and kitchen area could be used for a sleeping area?

why no high-top???..impossible to move around in a lowtop van unless your under 5ft tall!!yikes!! skip this one and find another !

It is a Rental camper van, not a RV. You can't drive a high top RV and rome around cities, but you can with these camper vans. If big space is your choice, go rent a RV that costs three times of this.

@@zihaoding4864 I see Amazan Vans, UPS etc.. all get around the city just fine. Maybe I missed something? About not being able to roam around the city? Also what the price difference from a this and a high top? I was going to check out some cities on a road trip. Thanks for any tips!

@@prophetseven728 oh the difference is that you can drive the camper van in to many indoor parking lots in the cities but you can't with high-top amazon vans. but again amazon vans are still much easier than a 40ft long real rv, which basically is a truck you will need park it in a RV park which costs about 100 a day and need a second car to shop and tour cities(not walmart kinda open parking). Depending on the season and location these van should cost 50-150 a day, rv rental is about double the price. a good in between kinda thing is class B rvs basically is a amazon van size rv, if you don't want visit tourist places in cities.
