Hi Chuck. I bought a heavy duty aluminium parasol from a chandler and did not attach it to the stern permanently as quays in Turkey and Greece vary greatly in height - from 30cm above water to 1.5m. I use the stainless steel stern rails as a step for changing heights and it works really well. The best would be to have a carbon fibre low weight parasol but I would have to have that customer made. Keep well.

I think its a collision warning
