OMG this is so adorable. I have never worked with leather before and you made it look so simple to work with. I have done a lot of sewing over the years but when this popped up on my wall I just had to check it out. I have subscribed and will be back to watch more for sure. And as soon as I start filming, among the sounds of the tools, there's inevitably the dog's snoring, the cat's rustling, the scampering of these two. To make a video without music, I need to send these two rascals on vacation 😂

Both the Ai voice and the music you’ve chosen are pleasing to some, but there are always others who may be bothered by it. There will be some who are bothered by subtitles, some are bothered by lack of subtitles. You can’t make everyone happy. Please don’t let the comments get you down. You are a talented designer! I watch dozens of sewing and crafting videos every week to gather tips as a theatrical costumer and prop designer. I really enjoyed this video and learned a few new ideas. Keep up the good work!

I love this pattern - it looks very much like a real cat, and could certainly be painted to resemble your own cat. I look forward to trying this pattern. I totally understand your dilemma regarding language narration, and honestly though the voice-over does sound AI, I have heard a lot worse quality ones. Yours is by far the most natural I’ve heard so far on these videos. Since music is a personal taste thing, it’s hard to say what is best.

After all, my audience is global and speaks different languages. So, the main thing is that everything in the video is understandable without words 🙂

I have watched several of your videos and have never heard the dog snore. I love seeing your animals and like when the cat wants to help. The music I can take as long as it stays in the back ground, this music was just a little too loud for my liking. AI voice, no thank you. Your talents are many don't hide them.

Thank you! You didn't hear my dog's snoring because I cut it out of the video. Or I constantly re-shot the takes when my furry mischief-makers made too much noise that couldn't be removed. But you will definitely hear the unmatched snoring of my dog in the next video, which will be released soon 😁

I love your patterns. How long does this take, and how much would you charge for the finished piece?

Thank you! The time it takes to make one depends on experience. A beginner might spend two days making one cat. I can sew three to four such cats in two days without rushing. The first day is for preparation: cutting out parts, treating the edges of the leather, shaping the whisker pads, and then leaving the night for these parts to dry. On the second day, all these can be assembled. I cannot say how much the finished product may cost. I believe the craftsman should determine the value of their work.

Thank you for your comment! Yes, I too enjoy such videos. Oh, I may be a decent leatherworker but I'm a terrible conversationalist 😂 In this video, I attempted a voiceover. But it was commented that the voiceover was really poor because it sounded too artificial. In general, conversational videos are great when the audience speaks the same language. But my audience is global, speaking many different languages. Hence, I once decided to forgo speaking altogether, attempting instead to show how to correctly assemble patterns without words, to be universally understandable. My question is, if I provide voiceovers in Ukrainian (my native language) with translated subtitles, would that be well-received?
