They just cut down the engines to keep position, before gotten hit by small rocks. Not even a hull breach. The real flaw is: a spacecraft doesn't stop when you stop thrusters. Needs a lot of thrust to stop. 🚀🏴‍☠️🎸

As well they showed a "fire" in space. Granted it could be oxygen fed from the oxygen from the vessel it would look nothing like that. But I will continue watching to see if it gets better. I can overlook so-so acting and even bad science as long has the plot at least captures my interest. A few of the Star Wars sequels I actually found quite boring and never made it through. That said, on occasion good acting can make a lousy movie tolerable. Just like a good plot could make a movie with lousy acting tolerable.

I watched this last night, and the flaws weren't apparent to me then, but today they are; however, I'm speaking as a reformed Christian. I don't come from the believeth that mankind is basically good. Self-preservation will always rule over self-sacrifice. The characteristics the main character displayed aren't innate to humans. It comes from a Christian worldview. I think this is why the writer referenced him as being from the "bible belt." He might have said FU to his hometown and left, but it remained a part of him. All he had to do was test himself as she did to prove he wasn't infected. He could have left the pod and informed the rescue ship that he was in the pod with two infected people; although he tested himself and wasn't infected, he should have been placed in isolation until it was proven he wouldn't infect anyone. The only reason he would sacrifice his life is because he cared for the female character and didn't want her to die alone, which is why he was furious when she lied to him. It is part of a man's nature to protect females, especially the ones he cares for. It was an ok movie, but I give the writer kudos for telling a story that only consists of a one-set configuration.

Reminds me of some of the people who got the flesh eating virus from the water they swam in. Some got it so bad and were very stubborn to go to a doctor. Their bone was exposed in the face. The whole bottom of their jaw bone was was showing with their teeth. Until they died. Others lost all the skin under a eye having their eye fall out hanging by a big vein. And in case you got this far. None of this really happened. I just made it up.😂

Libraries are far too big; pretty sure this was shot in a closet. A rectangular closet with shower rod hooks on the curtain over the window. Most of the set is stick on LED lights. Oh, and a story might have been a nice-to-have feature too!

reminds me of the story told in Stand by Me - "the spew Athon" -- damn - anybody with a throwing up fetish would be delighted with these great green gobs of greasy grimy gopher guts, scenes. some poor taco place, near wherever this movie was made was asking "Hey what happened to all our green pepper condiment sauce - all the packets are gone, and the main dispenser is missing too." On a serious note - this is a story written by whatever the essence of god is regardless of what the writers intent was - here we are - we don't know who we are - or why we are here - or what we are supposed to be doing - anything we think is something that has been planted in us by those that came before us and we are finding out they have really screwed things up on this planet big time - and we won't ever be able to set things right - until everybody is dead and our souls are set free from this prison and we find consciousness in some other place with no memory of this existence at all - our souls have always existed - before the big bang whatever that represents - so our souls are way deep in whatever it is we are part of although I don't know that it matters that we ever really know - I would opt for just love kindness and compassion - okay so this movie lets down - someone who goes through all that is not being tested or trained they are being put in a position to suffer PTSD for the rest of their lives - which is why we die at the end of whatever this is - and everything if released - no memories no words no meeting up with the dead that left before us - the afterlife is not just a continuation of this life - sorry all you who think your loved ones from here are waiting and watching - no - if you meet up with them later they are only projections from the power of your own soul because you will apparently have need for that - for a while at least - and if you are really tied to this earth - well that's what a ghost is - and if you were a horrible person who really damaged their soul - that is what a demon is - eons clean it up - so with infinity and eternity to work with - don't fret - everything is moving as it should - but this movie takes liberties that do not exist - you don't go through all that horror and just snap back to 'lets go have lunch"
