If you are able to grab blocks or items from a previous and used it to solve the next room or the room after, then that's fair since while the carpet was not meant to be used in the 3rd room, the carpet was still a block inside the escape room. It's like what Kenadian said on his Debunking video on Wifies, "Conserve block if you can".
