I like the stillness quality in your videos that the no talking gives , hearing the sounds of nature is a nice change from some of the KZbin videos you see where they’re giving some mad commentary that they think adds to the video in someway but it’s definitely not doing that

Great stuff - you've inspired me to drag out the kayak and get back into overnighting out of it as I used to do. Love how you're prepared to paddle/walk/drag gear past your camera and return endlessly - now that's commitment! We are spoiled in NSW for options aren't we and you're in a beautiful place. Ha ha ha, shallow water in the river. Had the same problem on my last trip. Only the river floor was knee deep silt or mud. All part of the fun going out there. Nice camping areas.

I'm from a non english speaking country, sorry for my English. When I see this type of videos it comes to my mind an specific situation. Imagine you plan all of this, you travel miles, then reach the place, and navigate in the kayak far away to the site you will camping, and as soon as you put one feet our of the kayak to start your adventure... ZAZ! You got one of those backpains that leaves you crouched for the rest of the week!!!! One of my biggest fears! And the other one it's that from what I have read... anything in Australia can kill you!!! Good video!!!!!! (Edit: yes maybe i'm not that kind of adventurer)

this is a very real risk for me as I have had 3 major back injuries in the past 10 years, I carry pain killers, a satellite phone and let people know exactly where I'm going and when I'm due back. If something like that happens I I would dump gear down to necessitys and do my best to get out :) hope for the best, plan for the worst :) thanks for watching :)

Such easy watching and addictive nice work Chris, is that Sanfire you picked and fried with the bream? we have that here in the UK it grows in abundance and they charge fortunes at the supermarket for it. Looking forward to the next one already.

I wonder if you could bring along a lightweight flat dolly on wheels to tie to the bottom of your kayak for the long hauls to the beach. Might need 2, or 1 long makeshift one.
