Great stuff - you've inspired me to drag out the kayak and get back into overnighting out of it as I used to do. I'm from a non english speaking country, sorry for my English. When I see this type of videos it comes to my mind an specific situation. Imagine you plan all of this, you travel miles, then reach the place, and navigate in the kayak far away to the site you will camping, and as soon as you put one feet our of the kayak to start your adventure... ZAZ! You got one of those backpains that leaves you crouched for the rest of the week!!!! One of my biggest fears! And the other one it's that from what I have read... anything in Australia can kill you!!! Good video!!!!!! (Edit: yes maybe i'm not that kind of adventurer)

this is a very real risk for me as I have had 3 major back injuries in the past 10 years, I carry pain killers, a satellite phone and let people know exactly where I'm going and when I'm due back. I wonder if you could bring along a lightweight flat dolly on wheels to tie to the bottom of your kayak for the long hauls to the beach. Might need 2, or 1 long makeshift one.
