me too. i dont even consider them the same band now that they hav Craig for a lead singer. ronnie should have made them change their name to something different, because without him, it is soooo different.
@jerrysmith87499 жыл бұрын
I get what you mean, they both have different singing styles. however, I can still feel the emotion in Craig's' voice too, i love the changes the band has been though. Ronnie was an amazing singer in etf but he's a lot happier now
@RoxxyFly3 жыл бұрын
Honestly I've listened to the whole discography and let me tell you all those albums have made me cry to atleast 1 song a piece. The emotion is still there, just the funny or wild songs seem to get all the attention.

@@jillkrajicek omg RIGHT!! like I hinestly stopped listening when Ronnie got out because they finally ran out of the songs he wrote. There are some songs that falling in reverse has that sounds like old etc tho!

Still love this song. I would love if Ronnie re-recorded this song with FIR, I’d give anything to hear him sing it now.

I don’t care how old I get, this song will always mean so much to me. I heard it for the first time so many years ago. I think I was probably 10 years old when I heard the first version of this song. It’s always stuck with me and I always come back to it. I’m 23 now and despite how young I was when I first heard it, it ALWAYS hit me right down into my core. It got me through some seriously fucked up shit as a teenager. But despite everything that I went through, this song takes me back to a much easier time. And for a few minutes it feels like it takes me back in time to a place where things were easier and all that mattered to me was buzznet bands (only OG emos remember buzznet haha) and Ronnie Radke. He was the light in my fucked up childhood.

@pennyp110012 жыл бұрын
the notes/ pitches are different. Like, how they sing them. If you need to you can listen to the old version of the song and then the new version and you should be able to differentiate it and know what i'm talking about. In my opinion however, I think that both versions are quite formidable in their separate ways. =} Hopefully that helps you.

+The Last Trap God How does this sound "dated"? Good music is timeless.
@DVRKSTXR7 жыл бұрын
zrizzle *Good music IS timeless.* Regardless, the quality of this song does sound dated. That's not a bad thing by any means, so I don't know why you took it that way. I love how this song sounds like it is the direct product from a golden era that is forever lost in time. It makes it that much more special, and it will forever remain as part of the bigger masterpiece that was Dying Is Your Latest Fashion and the OG Escape The Fate lineup. The same goes for any band from way back in the '05-'07 era. Blessthefall's 'His Last Walk', is a great album, despite the quality of it being shoddy. Does that make it any less great? *HELL NO!* Also, by bringing up DIYLF, I'm not saying that it's quality is bad. That album has managed to transcend time and 10+ years later it sounds as good as I imagine it did back in '06.
