Escape to Nature: Exploring Nant Rhys Bothy | Cambrian Mountains Experience

We take a hike up to Nant Rhys Bothy in the Cambrian Mountains Mid Wales to do a Recce on the bothy for a future stay at this location, it is a beautiful area so peaceful and quiet, really lovely area and Bothy.

Goid afternoon Mark, Simon, long time! 👍🚎❤ there is only so much sitting round you can do lol, really glad you too us along for his adventure too. Is this far from New Quay, outa interest? Cracking looking hike of the beaten path and the bothy was great too, we have come across a few in various slots up and down the UK, always nice when they are respected and well maintained. Nothing sadder than a bothy in disrepair. Didn't hear the gunfire, but my ears are shot lol! Graetblooking track and smashing veiws when the forest allowed it 🤗 was like an episode of, top, middle or bottom with the tracks at that junction! cant remember the game show lol 🤭 Really enjoyed this, lovely way to start our weekend, thanks again, Ceri and Kat ❤👍☕🥰

Hi if you are driving on the A44 from Llangurig you come to a village called Pant Mawr about a mile past the village there is a sharp left hand turn where you will enter the forestry commission area we parked there and walked along the road to the bothy , it’s around 45 minutes- to an hours walk depending on your foot speed but a nice walk through the forest 👍👌
