I am 77, single and have huge house with 3 rock fireplaces, huge rooms, 31/2 bathrooms, 15 acres & a full basement. I don’t need it and think about selling it but it keeps going up in value and the thought of moving is scary! Also I want to leave my kids as much as possible.

I think if the mystery house had been updated and redecorated with a modern kitchen and more bathrooms, the end result would have been a different story. Those steam engines and the Wurlitzer were amazing!

Loved house 1 (I'd totally junk the swimming pool tho - too much work unless you use it daily). 2 Was OK - hard to gauge size without any furniture from the tv tho (might be easier in person). Loved the bones of house 3 - Georgian one of my fave styles of house.

All three properties were very nice. The third was like something straight out of Jane Austen. But why do they need such a big house? It seems that a comfortabe 3-bedroom with 10 acres of land is closer to what they really want.

Spoiler alert! Fantastic episode, all the 3 properties were amazing! #2 was my favourite though! A shame that it didn't work out. I hope they are very happy in their dream home by now. Thanks again for sharing!

I loved the 2nd house but i will go for the mystery house. I prefer it's layout more. It will need updating sure, but there is enough money left over to do it. I loved it's curb appeal, the grand entrance, the bright living room with bay window, the kitchen size and layout and the 6 bedrooms which were big and spacious you can put ensuites in them. I don't need an annexe, even if i did, the outbuildings are enough to do that. I can always add a swimming pool as well if i wanted. Although the house is old, i actually thought some aspects of it were lovely like the wall paper in the living room. There is so much potential to this house and it had a straight forward layout compared to the other two plus no beams which i am not a fan of

Second house with sea view and land. The third the land is great but the house is trash. I dislike non working fireplaces. ETA: Are the videos missing prices for anyone else. Also based on price I’d go with house three since they love horses more than a sea view.

That 3rd house is not trash. Unfortunately you can't just see the potential. A non working fire place can be made to work again, after all people build houses and put fireplaces in them, they don't just magically appear, do they?
