The third house is beautiful! What a very cool find. The outside, beautiful! Love this nice couple. The little outside seating area is perfect, less is more, and the couple can use community land to enjoy. You don't need to own it to enjoy it. Gorgeous house.

My favourite was house #2! Beautiful from the outside, the inside and the "garden" was on the small side, but at least there was one and with great potential too. The mystery house had just a tiny patio and crooked walls and beams, but that is what they fell in love with, good for them. I hope they are still happy there and healthy. Thanks for sharing this episode!

Happy that they found their dream house. Personnaly, I found it quite dark and cramped and the tiny little patio anything but private. Every single neighbour had prime view. I would have preferd house #2 which I found beautiful, airy and spacious inside and I quite liked the little garden.

Me too. The mystery house was way to dark and cramped for me. That kitchen needed total updating and it was the most expensive house as well.

I would go with the 2nd house. It was the cheapest yet had the most value for money. 4 spacious double bedrooms, sleek modern bathroom, 3 reception rooms, big spacious kitchen that could fit an island yet had a sizeable garden. The 60k left over would make that house a sleek modern family home.

House 1 was okay. House 2 was fantastic. The Mystery House would have had me turning on my heels. I hate walking through the front door directly into the kitchen.

I liked house 2 as well. Add some plant boxes and you have a garden. Plus living right next to the store and butcher is convenient but it’ll also be busy.

Me too. I didn't like the mystery house at all. The 2nd was my favourite and I would choose the 1st house over the mystery.

House number two is a no no, because it's right on the road and hardly any back yard

It was right on the road but close to shops and amenities which is ideal plus it's yard was way better than the mystery house.

I’m glad they’re happy and we’ve heard that they chose one of the homes. But - I really don’t think a mystery house should violate the original contract of ‘detached, no thatch, big garden…’ whatever. There are ways of stepping out of boxes without violating the trust of the couple and the audience.

If they had not "violated" the original requirements of the couple, they would have missed out on the property the couple loved and wanted to make it their home. I think sometimes people think that some things are definitely a NO NO until they find something that they love so much that they are able to totally overlook what they intially thought were definitely NO NO.

Goodness, the whole point of the mystery house is to present something unexpected or not asked for! And often the househunters love it, or at least love the chance to see it. Anyone who comes on the show certainly knows the format.

Are all European bedrooms small ? If so, why? also, I think some of the rooms might not be as small as the clients oiinitially think, but there seems to be lots of furniture in the rooms that take up much space....maybe remove the furniture, then see.....love the views!
