I have a 2006 RMK 900 looks just like yours. I dig your videos. You are clear, thorough and concise. Some of these you watch, your getting their social life 10 times more than pertinent information. Keep them going as this is my first sled and I do work on my vehicles myself (up to my pay scale). Excellent Job!!!

Took me a while to find the drain... It was right where you showed it in the video (THANKS!), but I still didn't see it until I viewed the video a second time. I used a 1/4" allen for the drain plug and 13/16 socket for the fill plug on my 2006 RMK 900

@EscapePowerSports3 жыл бұрын
appreciate the kind words. And I do not have an exact model I do have a 06 rmk 600 so I'll go see what it looks like when it warms up, but as long as you can find a fill, drain plug, and shot glass it should be fairly similar. If there is no way to check oil I'd make sure to get exact capacity for your machine from the dealer when you get the oil. Hope this helps, cheers

@EscapePowerSports3 жыл бұрын
hmm I am not exactly sure as I have never had one of those sleds, but if you can't find it I would try and find a owners manual or a service manual on the internet, even if it cost $20 or so a good service manual will make all future maintenance jobs go just infinitely smoother. Also check out some of the forums out there as someone else has likely had the same question and there are a bunch of very knowledgeable people on those forums. Hope this helps, good luck and thanks for watching and taking the time to leave a question in the comments. Cheers

not sure as I've never owned that particular model, were you able to locate a drain and/or fill plug? That's definitely the first step here. Thanks for watching and taking the time to leave a question in the comments. Hope this helps get you started. P.S. Owners manuals and service manuals are the best resources available for learning to work on these machines ourselves. Cheers

How do you change the chaincase oil on a 1999 Polaris 700 RMK
@EscapePowerSports3 жыл бұрын
honestly I'm not sure, but if you can find a fill plug, drain plug and some sort of shot glass to view the fluid level it will be similar to what I did in the video. Maybe try and get a service manual for your machine or check out the forums for more advice on yours. Hope this helps. thanks for watching and taking the time to leave a question in the comments. honestly not sure, but it should be similar I would try and find a owners manual or even better a service manual for your machine, but if you are able to find a fill plug and drain plug as well as that shot glass to see how much to add I'd say go for it.
