They tried experimenting on the self-titled and people complained. Oddly enough, that's Escape the Fate's best selling album so far. I disagree with this album being boring though, it has plenty of variety imo. There's not really any heavier songs on this, which I would've rather had than songs like Chemical Love, Desire, or One For The Money, but oh well...those aren't terrible songs.
