This episode is full of beauty, history, sarcasm and humor. I love it!

What a lovely couple! As someone who could not deal with the low ceilings of the mystery house, I have a lot of respect for Kathy for being this open because she knew how much her husband loved it. Happy to hear they found something that works for both of them and the rest of the family.

So glad to hear that the couple found a home near to the mystery house. On this series, a little closure goes a long way!

The Snail-farm was Joy to visit! Sophie has such a humorous way. "the Snails had started us a business" also I learned Canola Oil was invented by a Canadian! Seven years ago this episode was made but still lovely to watch. Thanks ETTC for downloading!

I loved the first house. I would want to change the frosted panes over the kitchen sink. I like to look out at the garden when I wash the dishes.

ETTC is always ELEVATED when the Buyers are personable, interactive, emotionally intelligent, engaged, and not struggling with social interaction and not burdening themselves with emotional walls and misplaced ego. Those couple was a delight!!!!

While i loved the turnkey nature of the 1st house especially the sleek kitchen, living room and one of the ensuite bathrooms, i would pick the 2nd house because of it's curb appeal, size, potential and garden. I don't need 2 reception rooms so the 3rd one that was shown i would convert into a beautiful master bedroom with ensuite, keep the existing bedroom downstairs for guests while the 3 bedrooms upstairs would be for the kids. I would update both bathrooms. As for the kitchen. It could look better. I will update it to look as clean lined and modern as the 1st one and i wiñl include an island as well. With the sitting area outside and huge garden, there is enough room for an outdoor entertaining area and a pool. Then on top the garden i will build a clean offuce space with some gym equipment by the side for home workouts. There would also be a shower and toilet plus a sofa bed for more guest space or to just rest if someone working doesn't want to go back and forth to the main house. It would cost a lot of money but it would make a beautiful forever home.

Happy the lady's discovered the house wasn't thatched from inside.

Wonderful couple. The husband's mannerisms remind me of Joe the copper on Doc Martin. All the properties were nice but I liked number 2 the best. All the best to the couple and their new home.

I would love to know if they ended up with something more to his taste...cottagey, quirky, thatch... Happy she was willing to consider them

That snail caviar made me feel squeamish. Eek, Alistair! Like the second house if only it had an en suit for the master.

Rape flowers...hate that term...in Oz we call it Canola..much nicer!! Why do people always have to talk about "walking in and changing things" cant they just appreciate someones beautiful home as it is....the way people say things like its so pokey, so old fashioned, cramped, poorly set out etc etc (I dont mean this couple particularly) they happened to be talking about someones pride and joy....its just rude!!! Sorry another negative comment here but if folk want more land, bigger houses etc etc why do they look in more expensive areas? Why not move a little more country and get value for money or at least what they can afford....and stop comparing what they have, instead look at whats on offer. Btw why does this show, show houses the exact opposite to what people are looking for, surely thats more for the TV audience than the people who are actually looking for a home? It rarely works out. Always nice to see Alistair though.
