I am a photographer and have lived in England for 8 yesrs in the past and now live back in the U.S.A and I can tell you- this show every day I watch it makes me so upset that I moved back to the U.S.A sometimes lol ❤

We visited the UK in 2011 and 2013 and I have to say watching yesterday when they were in East Sussex made me want to cry. We were in Battle, and Rye, and Camber Castle etc. It's just so sad to long for something you can't have. And when they mention Beachy Head or Eastbourne or Kent, well I'm just done. Bloody sad

I've never been to the UK but I'm in love with it and dream about living there. The countryside and its historic homes are dreamy and the people are so incredibly lovely. I've lived very rural my entire life and it's beautiful where I live too but we lack the history and friendly community spirit that I see there.

Jules is definitely an English country gentleman, especially with the cap. Really nice couple and hope they are happy in Cumbria.

I absolutely love the character wall separating the kitchen in the first home and wouldn’t dream of losing it just to gain a wee bit of open space. Small homes have their attributes. More economical to heat and cool, easier to clean and less upkeep. More affordable all the way round.

It was my favourite home as well and I loved the wooden wall with windows

Me too and it was the most updated out of the three so turn-key. I loved that home as well. Bigger isn't always better.

Three stellar properties, any one of which I would spring for. I loved Denise's calm, well-considered, articulate approach to what she was seeking. Hubby was a bit of a knucklehead with his model train obsession. House #2 could have worked beautifully if he just bought a pre-fab shed.

Did Jules say " Glory Hole" in the first house's description of kitchen to utility room, LOL

In the mystery house, the sunlight was streaming through the skylight in the master bedroom, yet when they go downstairs a few moments later to check the outside space, Jules days it's still pouring...now that is what you call a quick change of weather

How on earth does someone pull out of a sale on settlement day? That wouldn’t be allowed here in Australia. You could sue the vendor.

I've never liked homes that open into a living room and yet that's all I've ended up with lol. Usually the rest of the house made it OK but my dream place would have a proper porch or entryway. House 1 looked great on the outside, and inside but didn't like the position. House 2 was nice but wasn't a fan of the weird mezzanine office bit. Liked the mystery best I think.

It WAS great to see Jules as always, and in general I really liked this couple except for the obsession over the model RR. In fact this couples favorite house was my least favorite, and it turns out I'm glad they found another location. Nevertheless, I do wish them the very best in their new home, and hope to see Jules sooner than later. :O) LOVE this show!

Love Jewels as always, but the man has tunnel vision you do not buy a house around a model railway. Thats insane

Why not? It's his hobby. It makes him happy. It's what a home has to do, make happy the people who lives in.

It has a different meaning in British English. LOL. Noun. 1. informal. a room, cupboard, or other storage space that contains an untidy and miscellaneous collection of objects.

"I want space" - well, train guy - got an extra $200,000 or $300,000? Although these shows, and the presenters, are wonderfully enjoyable, the enormous amount of very spoiled people tend to drag it down - normally the whiners are women - this guy is whiner of the day!
