I really felt it when you were talking about that extended need for silence and how the opportunity to live those moments as introverts is few and far between as a mom. Having an extrovert partner also makes it hard because sometimes people don't understand that intense need to be in absolute stillness in order to re-calibrate your person... the battery runs on low for what feels like eternity, and the power supply to recharge is never strong enough to get you back to full. I take comfort in understanding that I am in a phase of this lifetime and one day peace will be restored. In the meantime, I take the little moments, sometimes that I have to steel for myself, take whatever charge they'll give and feel proud of how much I can do with so little. Stay strong & introspective! ❤
