I was Baptised in the Chaple at Fort Jackson, SC in 1985. How surprised I was the first Sunday in Bacic Training when the Drill Sergeant stood before us and ask " Who wants to go to church?" There were 12 of us. The Drill sergeant marched us to the chaple. We had to hold hands and sing Jesus Loves Us this We Know.😅😅 Then in the fifth week we put on white robes and opened a door in the floor of the stage of the chaple revealing a large pool of water. And Chaplain Barbour Dunked us, one at a time. Afterwards when we exited the chaple we felt inlightened and looked up to the tree tops and the Sun was shining down on Us.😊

Thank you for this much needed message to the Body of Christ. I thank the Lord that in His mercy He revealed to me more than 30 years ago, the pagan things I had in my life. Practices that came from cultural habits and just going with the flow. Never asking, "why?" But it was an incident that woke me up and in praying the Holy Spirit opened my understanding and showed me the pagan roots of Christmas, Easter, Halloween and things in my home. It was a deliverance for which I am grateful and has made me wary ever since. We have to be careful to not open a door to evil in our lives. If we want to walk in victory, we have to do what is necessary to clean up our lives. Otherwise we will always be defeated by the enemy.

I totally recommend seeing THE SOUND OF FREEDOM. It is so well done. I was nervous to see it, but I was greatly relieved to discover that it was very tastefully done. It wasn't super graphic and yet the audience definitely got the idea what was being done to these dear children. One seldom, SELDOM hears messages of this depth and caliber anymore! As we await the return of Christ, His Spirit is trying to warn us in love that Heaven is more than just some place we go to when we die. There will be a "judgement" for Saints as well. Not for sin, but for how we lived for Christ...to what degree did we allow His Spirit to conform us to His image? For our fervor and passion for Christ to be lights in this world. In heaven, there will be rewards. The Bible calls them crowns. And we'll all have positions, and authorities and things we will do on the earth during the Millennial Kingdom. Every time I hear a sermon which teaches cheap grace ( Bonhoeffer’s term) and there is nothing we need to work at, I pray and ask the Lord to teach us to be faithful unto death. There is an apathetic attitude about salvation. I hear people who no longer assemble with the church, people who are living in sin, drug addicts, those who are rebellious etc talking about being in heaven. Others talk about a friend or family member who was immoral, rebellious …. being in heaven. Where are they getting these ideas? They must never read the book God Himself wrote through His prophets and disciples. Some act as if the teachings of Freud will be opened at judgement instead of the Bible and what God said. We seem to have placed the writings of unbelievers on equal par with God’s. People quote ‘ the law of attraction’ as if there really is a God given law about that. God is truth and the things people are believing are lies and the doctrines of demons. Persecution will arise from within the church against anyone who stands for God’s Word . Even now, if a person fasts and prays, believes we must repent and work to be obedient because we love God and trust Him to know what is best, we are called ‘ legalistic’. Yet, whenI read testimonies from world missions, I get a whole new challenging view of what the true Christian church is. They know to follow Christ will bring suffering, rejection,and death. Just how saved are we in the West?

So am I to gather by what you wrote that you are no longer a sinner? You never sin? Ever? Do you rely on your good works then to get you safely into Heaven? Then what about the Corinthians? Paul wrote all those letters in two books in the NT addressing their sin. They were part of the church. They were Christians. They were sinning terribly, both physical sin and spiritual sin. In all of Paul's letters he addressed their sin but never their salvation. He never told them that they needed to "get saved" or "receive Jesus" because they already had. But he had a lot to say about their sin. They had no testimony because of their sin but they were saved. They had no peace, doubtfully many blessings, but they had salvation - not based on their good works but solely on the work of Jesus Christ on the cross. That is the doctrine that saves. Romans 10:9 "that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." Pretty simple.

The disciples of Jesus asked Him - Lord, teach us to pray as John taught his disciples also. The big thing overlooked in "the prayer" is what comes after "the prayer - FORGIVE OTHERS, SERIOUSLY FORGIVE OTHERS, otherwise Father will not forgive us. The psalmist said, If I regard iniquity in my heart the Lord will not hear me. Unforgiveness is iniquity. If we hold it in our hearts, don't matter what follows, the Father will not "hear" us. Prayer is a heart to heart talk between the Father and me. He is serious; I must be. He is transparent; I must be. He expresses Himself to us as He is; I must express myself to Him as I am, not like someone else. We can have an open communication with the Father, all day every day, while we are doing earthy stuff. I know of a husband and wife who agreed to pray before they consummated. Father wants us to be open and dependant upon Him for everything. But there needs to be times of prayer where we do not do other stuff; when we give our full attention to Father. Even reading the Word of God is a part of prayer - Father speaking to us. As we begin taking small steps, we will grow up in the Lord little by little and He will teach us more and more from His Word and also directly putting thoughts in our minds, even words in our mouth to verbalise to Him. Perhaps you knew these things anyway, but go on brother, go on and upwards. The break through begins in us as we become more broken before Him; learning to walk in humility. Still learning here.

So we do still have pastors who fear God before man. This is NOT a message one would hear in 90%+ of the 'churches' in the West that are terrified of offending anyone and refuse to speak The Truth.

So sad and unbelievable hearing Pastor Jackson say at one stage “ we have to forgive God” what on earth did he say it thats so wrong. It’s us that need Gods forgiveness . God is perfect and if we are disappointed with our circumstances we can pour out how we might be feelings to our Heavenly Father but how does Pastor Jackson even imagine we need to forgive God. He says this at 38 minutes and 36 seconds into the sermon .

I feel you misunderstood Pastor Jackson's words. There are those who blame God for their circumstances. They have to forgive God. I knew a man, personally, who blamed God for taking his three year old son to cancer and, then losing his marriage. He had to get to the point of forgiving God. I have end stage lung cancer. I could easily blame God, but I don't; there are some who do. I pray they forgive my God!

@@sandraoutlaw5655 oh Sandra I’m sorry you have lung cancer. My prayers are with you . But why pray that others will forgive God. God never needs forgiving , our Heavenly Father is perfect. We need to pray for forgiveness for ourselves. Jesus was crucified taking away our sins . God loved us that much He gave His only Son to be brutally tortured and die so through Jesus precious blood we can be reconciled to our Father. Through all the tragedies and great sorrows fix our eyes on Jesus and pour our hearts out to Him. It might sound I’m just using words and haven’t a clue how it feels to be crushed by circumstances but I do understand . Yes horrific things happen but this is not our home our citizenship is in heaven with our loving heavenly Father. Thinking and praying tonight for you. 🌼💛🌼

It isn't so much that we have to forgive God as much as we have to not Bite the bait of satan he wants us to be offended at God... If we are offended at God we won't trust him and we won't love him then we can slip into that pay that pagan pit

The phrase is misleading. Of course, it is true, God does not need forgiveness from anyone. Perfect holiness has nothing to be forgiven about. People have to stop being mad at God. It backfires. Being mad at God reveals a lack of humility, but some element of bitterness and resentment. This requires REPENTANCE from the individual.

Repentance, Renounce, Release. I like those three words je mentioned, review the word of God, if you don't know where to start, used Bible studies, purpose is not something we will clearly see sometimes, bit when we are active in oir relationship with Christ, he will do in ypi and in other through you without yoi noticing it, like a light that shines to every eye, even the inea far away will know lght exist. The desire of wanting to know your purpose is the start to be open to Holly Spirit to reveal it to you. Love Christ and he will do. Blessings.

An inmate gave me Galatians 2:20 as an example of who he has become. Every time I hear it or read it I think of how people may judge inmates but some of them believe more than church going Christians.
