Out of all the KAJ songs the chosen one for this video is one from 10 years ago? 😂😭 "Jåo nåo e ja jåo YOLO ja nåo" was their big break. But there are songs with better production now. 😂 KAJ is a humor/parody group from Finland who sings in Fennoswedish dialects. They are hugely popular among us finlandssvenskar and have done several albums and musicals. They often do different genres for their songs. "Pa to ta na kako" is K-pop inspired, "Taco Hej!" has more stereotypical latino vibes, "TEXT-TV" is more synthpop. One of their latest songs are called "Karar i arbeit" and was released this year. 🙏❤️

I honestly think there should be a rule that if you win the entire thing, you can come back as a host or something but not compete again. Your advantage is just too big by that point Give a chance to the new artists who need it more

Former Melodifestivalen winners have come back to Melodifestivalen a lot of times, without having much of an advantage or do particularly well. Even former Eurovision winners haven't done that well. Sure, some Eurovision winners Elizabeth Andreassen made it to the final in 2002, and came 3rd, but was far from a win, and Helena Paparitzou, made it through to the final, via Andra chansen, and got 4th place in 2014, Charlotte ended up in 8th place in 2021, but before that, she failed to reach the final in 2012, as well as in 2017. Carola failed to reach the Melodifestivalen final in 2008, and even Loreen failed to reach the Melodifestivalen final in 2017. New artists do get a chance, most of the artists are new, it's not like there is just an internal selection, like in some other countries, both veterans and the debutants have to prove that they're the best each year. And if you fail, you're out, even if you're a former Eurovision winner. I think the mix with both debutants and veterans make it fun and interesting. Having just debutant would turn Melodifestivalen and Eurovision into some kind of "Idol" contest. Former winners returning has been a Eurovision tradition for almost 70 years.
