Ho lavorato alla Rodriquez ed ho preso parte alla costruzione anche dell'Eschilo, Eraclide, Calipso ed altri. Quando entrai nel cantiere navale Rodriquez, non si producevano aliscafi da anni, io ed un anziano collega "T.Giovanni" tirammo fuori tutte le attrezzature necessarie e rimesse a nuovo, iniziando dalla sella. Quanti ricordi belli.

I look forward to seeing these. Back in 2008 my wife Julie and I had a 35 minute trip on an immaculately presented 1983 built Meteor hydrofoil (Meteor 185, iirc) in St Petersburg. She was not impressed at all but I LOVED it !!! I even managed to sneak a look, via an unlocked hatch, at the twin 12-cyl Zvezda diesels, which sounded lovely !!!

Andy Preston I did exactly the same on a Meteor in Kazan last year. It’s one of the videos I have to edit. Their fleet of Meteors had new MAN diesels fitted

Just watched this again.....I love the sound of the second-stage turbocharging kicking in.....almost sounds as if there was a gearchange!!

Yes it's true - it very much sounds like a 'gear change'. The newer MTU 2000 diesels have three-stage turbocharging!!
