Well ive got a 225 bhp Seat leon cupra r & if any one said it was slow id laugh and walk away because it absolutly flies, i took on an rs turbo just last week and i have to say it gave me one hell of a run for my money, they are definitely NOT slow

@HENRYHOBBS1 .. its not a dump valve its turbo chatter, just air returning through the blades of the turbo. i get a similar noise from mine EFi conversion and group A cossie filter ;)

sorry 26 psi on a T4 ? that must be laggy as hell .I ran a T3 from a 2wd saff Cossie using a 48 mm housing at 22 psi and mine made 231 bhp low comp with no head work... definitely will buy and restore one again soon

compared to new cars rs turbos still remain intresting' although they never where quick nice chatter as you drive by a car but still hardly moving i think the rst was allways the car kevs choice. its about the drama i guess who cares if its not fast.

I will not by any chance give mgate01 points for comment since hes a complete jerk to listen to, but even though it "sounds" good its like every other good stuff and good stuff costs!!! And this sound will cost u a new turbo very soon.... My turbo said the same for 2months and then the shaft broke in to 2 parts and both blower wheels........rip. Get a proper dumpvalve on that says sssssssschhh once and not the way it does now.... :-)

@@danglee1786 how much boost do you run, how old is the turbo and is it a 360° ballbearing....? You can drive with this sound Even if you have a dumpvalve fitted, if the spring is to tight... But when boosting High pressure, the vibrations can eat the bearing in No time especially if you don't have a turbo with a ballbearing..
