I have a drawer full of high end folders, and big fixed blades. I have 2 Izula SS knives that I love...and this one. This is my scalpel...like a caping knife in size. It’s a “detail “ blade. You’re dead on...these sneaky little back up back up knives are a category unto themselves. Sweet and serious at the same time. Put on a $20 set of Micarta scales to triple its usefulness. Yeah, it is expensive but it sure as hell isn’t gonna fall apart...ever. In a thousand years some archeologists will dig mine up...and one of ‘em will say, “Hey Ralph, look, another ESEE!” LOL

It’s a zero tolerance tiger stipe blade. They’re a bit on the pricy side though

Michael Stiffler 0350TS and they have come down a lot since I bought mine about 6 years ago. Super solid knife. Looks like there going for around $129 now on blade HQ
