This has been my EDC for a year now. And I am super happy with it in A2. It's not hard to sharpen at all. The edge last a long time for me. I strop it about once a week. It's a great simple knife to carry as a reliable daily use tool. I hope you all like it too.

I think Esee and White River Knife and Tool is a great match up. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts after some field use. I am enjoying my A2 version quite a bit. Thanks for sharing.

How do you like it? I really want to pull the trigger on this one but I just got the Esee 4 in s35 after I told myself no more knives for a few months. Ive easily spent 25% of my paychecks on knives the last couple years. Not the brightest idea of mine but I think I might have an addition. Are there compulsive knife buying recovery groups out there?

Whoa! ESEE got into magnacut. Exciting. I don’t like how there’s not a ricasso or guard but other than that looks nice.

That looks even closer to the Esee 3 than the Izula 2. Going to have to get one especially to see how they did with the magnacut.

Just got 2 of them for the daughter's collection of "Anti Cultural Enrichment" tools. Went with the Maganacut for corrosion resistance as hopefully it won't be used much, but then again.....

1095 is dead. I feel it's highly inferior to A2. I love S35, but maybe they can use magnacut on larger blades

@@outerlimitless To me personally this looks like it was designed by someone who was very lazy, I've made a few knives myself and this looks like a beginner's knife... I made an almost identical knife myself a long time ago... The knife is too wide for its length, the rounded part is too steep... the guard finger is sharpened all the way, which is not good. In short, this knife is only good for maybe skinning an animal and nothing more. I live in the countryside and have my own animals and grow food, I use the knife every day to prepare food for myself and the animals, I'm always doing something, I have a couple of similar knives, I'm not satisfied, in the end, the old tried and tested design works best, a little longer and a narrower knife works better

@@johanesgo8096 I think you have some valid points... I do also express some of the same opinions in my initial impressions, however I have also learned that many designs are surprising after use so I will definitely reserve my judgement until after my testing. But I do understand your thoughts.

Cut something or Baton something. The comparison to a knife wrapped in para cord is nothing to me.
