Yeah. Wii U has less reverb and echo, and it's more clean, lacking the bass this version has: kzbin.info/www/bejne/hYe9aHiXptWfqas.

Also, if I remember correctly, this played on October 2014 on 3DS.

I think it's just that the WiiU version has a higher fidelity. 3ds uses 32khz at 96kbps. A far cry from mk7's 32khz at 299kbps.
