The motor on mine failed in less than two months use from new. The USB seems stopped working in less than one month. I been intouch with the seller they have agreed to send a replacement motor rotor. Still waiting on it to be shipped!

Hi, I bought this bike almost a year ago. Please publish my comment in case my story is useful to some other people. I have really bad experience with this company. I bought a bike almost a year ago and it's broken after 8 months. Since then I have been contacting them a lot, they have asked me to check a lot of things, like cables, battery voltage and cables inside the battery etc and they just playing with me and they don't want to help. Just in case you want to buy a bike from this company, be aware that support and warranty are just fake in case something happens to the bike. Feel free to contact me to give you any evidence of my case.

What kind of issue have you got with your bike ? Maybe the problem was with a large drop in battery performance?

After 8 months that I had done more or less 500 miles, I was using the bike once a week for about 15 miles both ways, when I was riding the bike to get home after work, the motor suddenly stopped working. The monitor was displaying miles etc but the motor was dead. I contacted Eskute support the same day and after I had to do a few things that they asked me to, like unplug and plug the cables etc, they decided to send me a replacement motor and a controller. After I replaced the controller and the motor, btw, replaying the controller is not the easiest thing in the world as it's too difficult to pass the cable through the frame, the bike started working again for a few meters and then the display and motor was getting switch off. After a couple of tries, the monitor and motor got completely dead. Then they asked me to buy a tool to measure the voltage of the battery. I did it and the battery looked dead 0V. Then they asked me to pay the shipping fee and send the battery to them to check and if they cannot fix it, to send me a replacement. I haven't done this yet. My question is, why I am supposed to spend so much time identifying the problem and fix it by myself and they just try to guide me from a distance and maybe, maybe provide me with the replacement parts. Support is supposed to take care of the inefficient parts and the replacement work. For me they should get back the bike, fix it and delivery it back to me. Imagine if you buy a car, something happens with the car and the company asks you to find the problem by yourself and then do some work and replace the inefficient part by yourself as well. That's rediculous! The result is, I have paid 1K, I haven't used this bike much, it seems company is playing with me and I have spent a lot of time to something that the company should have done this for me.

@@vallarisnick It's a known fault. The exact same thing happened to mine. There is a weak point where the positive discharge cable joins the battery pack internally. It breaks at a solder joint. They wanted me to send it to their distributor in Wigan for a repair however it is illegal to send the battery pack in the mail and no courier company will accept it from an individual. Only from companies with employees suitably certified in shipping Lithium batteries. They told me to ship it anyway and declare that it was something else other than a battery. I refused to do that and after a considerable amount of arguing, and with the help of Amazon customer support (which is where I bought it) they eventually sent me a replacement (old) battery. It took a couple of months to get it resolved in the end. I've had many other problems with the bike.

Received mine this week. The bicycle screen doesn't turn on at all. The charger shows green light so the battery must be charged. I am getting 31V on the battery terminals with a multimeter. When the battery is installed and I press the 'on' button nothing happens. The screen stays off. Absolute rubbish. Do not buy and read genuine reviews, not paid ones

My ESKUTE Netuno E-bike which paid £1000 for motor failed in less than two month. The 250w bafang motor cogs gear works but does not move the the wheel. Eskute sent me a new motor but both do the same thing. I had the wheel on and off over 6 times now and no luck. The only thing i can think of is some how the motor is going backwoods in freewheel. Maybe some thing wrong with the control. Its been alost two months with out use of it which i need for work. If they dont sort it out soon i been making a credit card charge back. Not great first impression of e-bikes.

Poor build quality and non-existent quality control just about sums up Eskute's bikes. If you're foolish enough to buy one, expect everything to go wrong and don't expect much at all in the way of customer support. The battery pack is particularly troublesome. The case looks ok from the outside but it's not waterproof (or even water resistant) so don't get it wet. Internally it looks like a 5 year old builds them and they have known issues that will result in a completely dead battery just when you really need that battery. When it happens, Eskute will want you to ship it (illegally) to Wigan (if you're in the UK) for a repair. I could go on.

@@georgistehov6076 31V is the fully discharged voltage. A fully charged battery should read 42V. The output from your charger should also read 42V.

I bought three bikes and so far, within six months or so, two have failed. Don’t buy these bikes, they’re not built to last.

Yes - it's optional extra - I didn't trying it as I tried the UK road legal version.
