@Daskungen the one they are wearing are the headset for pilots that will prevent them from listening what the commentators are saying and the another one they are not wearing are for the sake of promoting their sponsors... they might be using the mic aswell but advertising is the main concern imo :P

@Flamez2k10 They use for an event like this a Senheiser Pilot headset (don't know the exact name). And at home for online games the sponsored headset which is an SteelSeries 7H on fnatic.

@htdtr Primarily they used the headsets for communication. Basically, becuase there are 50-100 people in the place shouting for their teams

@xlxMaSoNxlx The ear phones they use are pretty much the best headphones you can get and you can't get quality sound and draining of ambient noise with other headphones (especially ones with mics), so they use the mics to communicate with their teams by putting it around their necks.

@CelMaiMort one for sound, one for voice, cuz if you use a headset (which uncludes mic and headphones) you might hear some in-game sounds when you talk. ^^

No they it explained at a different game, One is for the mic, one if for keeping the sound of the crowd out, then that have one more underneath the big ones that play game sounds.

@htdtr sometimes one headset isn't enough, two would make the in-game sound more accurate -- e.g instead of just knowing Generally that an enemy is behind you, you know Precisely where he is.

@whereeveritgoes That's not it. As you can imagine, the arena is VERY noisy and the bigger headset isolates the sound while the smaller one provides sound.

Im not sure what headset. but i think they are required to use the same headset (to make it fair?) and they use their own headset to speak into

@htdtr because normal headsets usually aint good enough meaning they player smight hear what is said by the shoutcasters at the event so they usually force the use of these headsets while they only plug in the sound, and use the microphone from thier own headset ))

So fun looking back. Everyone counted out fnatic as Gux, F0rest and get_right left them. cArn reconstructed the team and they won. Even threat is so biased and mad, should probably not be a commentator :D but, yeah as a fnatic and a cArn fan, this is one of the dearest memories.
