I really feel like B1ad3 did get the best out of every player he worked with. The synergy between him and Aleksib is also very good I feel... I think that Aleksib could become a next B1ad3 as a coach; tactical and work ethics wise.

As a f0rest fanboy back in the day, NEO was formidable and his team MYM/VP was so strong so resilient, I was scared for f0rest/SK,fnatic's chance of winning. In 1.6, NEO is truly the goat, yeah his stature is like s1mple in CSGO, and f0rest would be like Niko but even more successful (Not that Niko is not successful, but f0rest got more).

NEO is really humble, dude was insane in 1.6 and still recognizes it as a team effort. To a certain extent that is true, if team mates give good info you have better awereness of situations but they can't lift you to the individual skill level that NEO was playing during the time.

i feel like neo is still in a rather steep lerning process when it comes to coaching. i watched him closely during the interview and i think im sure that he took this talk at the roundtable as a chance to absolutely study what is said and learn a lot.

@@yesterdaystech86 not true at all. Neo was a star, top of the line but he was able to shine because of the team - he admits that since their first major win. You wouldn't be able to recreate their success if you'd have 5 Neo-like players. LUq was an amazing, aggressive AWPer, Loord and Kuben were always tactics/support players with utility, baiting, distracting and Taz was great overall. They allowed Neo to be this entry/lurker/clutcher. Every single one of Golden Five players were great on their own but together they created a perfect team that filled all the roles needed at the time.

I was really looking forward to Blade talking but as almost always he doesn't really say anything. I am not sure if it's because he's not super confortable with English or he just wants to keep everything to himself and does not want to leak anything, but yeah I don't know. Listen to him when he says anything, then pause when he's finished and try to make a summary, mission impossible.
