What a sick game it was. No matter who was winning (wanted G2 to lose) loved the entertainment that game illustrated. G2 are in huge trouble. They're not winning cups aa they wanted but reaching playoffs, now even more critical getting squashed by two teams. Something isn't the same in this team, either the role switch or the players. Niko is the most inconsistent top level pro I've ever seen in my life, Also, Monesy didn't play bad, he was testing what happens if he doesn't play at all. Poor monesy his back is finally broken by carrying the old hags.

Jks on the other hand plays mostly supportive and anchor roles. That makes him by definition very passive and therefore unfitting for Yekindars role.

An absolute roller coaster of emotions, how in the goddamn G2. Hooxi and hunter having to single handedly try to save the team on the last map while the kept playing into the jaws of M80 was painful to watch. Well played to M80, slaxz deserves the win for the effort he put in to push them accross the line as an awper, and managed to keep G2 on the back foot for so much of the series.

*spoilers* Some brilliant insights by Ynk and Maniac on vertigo and I think thats exactly whats wrong with G2. Their Tactics and macroplays are horrible, but the individuals always bail the team out. If hunter didn't catch swisher like 3 times in a row it would've been a much faster win for M80. Niko needs to take a break like simple or just retire, I don't know what the actual heck hooxi and taz is cooking behind the scenes but it hasn't worked. Hooxi gets exposed for the 700th time but this time m0nesy didnt bail him out.

Hooxi acutally owns e.g. Inferno tactical wise, the problems are niko and nexa + an inconsistent hunter. If Hooxi is close to his top fraggers (and this match he dropped 37 kills) then its not his fault. No idea what Taz is doing

Exactly. They have insane talent on the team.. but at the same time that works against them. Mostly monesy needs quad kills to win rounds. If not it’s Niko and hunter. Teams like Faze and Vitality (especially Faze) have such good teamwork and ditch ego because they all want to win more than anything else. Karrigan can go 5 for 20 but all those deaths are trades or better. Experience and maturity just end up beating raw talent. G2 is missing that.

Every player is a good player on G2, In some games it’s more evident one or another. The problem is that they are not performing consinstently individually. Also sometimes hooxie has bad positions, but there isn’t anybody you have to kick or swap, just make a better environment and circumstances to get the most out of each individual player

Given the new loadout system, pros equip both the m4a4 and m4a1s to use in different situations. m4a4 is mainly used by B anchors as of now since they have to defend sites and rushes etc...and the extra bullets are a great help in those situations.

Niko just doesnt know how to play vertigo, but for t1 its still not acceptable, even good old hunter runs much better. And its not just bc of this match, hunter just really know whats going on, but niko looks like faceit lvl 10 playing vertigo maybe 10th time in last 3 months.
