The Esmé Quartet's rendition is always astonishingly original, coherent and living with no artificiality. They present something beyond the classical music I have known till now. I think this is not simply the question of their technique but what they find in the score and what flows in their body that leads them to their own expression.

Very disappointing that this doesn't include the first movement. The Esmé Quartet are SO GOOD.

The history of Germany and Korea are not dissimilar, in that both countries have been battlegrounds for other nations wars. China, Japan, and the Mongols in the case of Korea. Britain, France, and Russia for the Germanic peoples. *Psychobabble alert*: I find a real, great affinity between Korean ensembles and orchestras and Beethovens works. Brahms as well. Am I nuts, or is this possibly due to the culture being shaped by it's history? In any case, the result given the world by the Esme Quartet is *Superb*! Bravo!....Corrected a typo....

하아....뭔가 곡 구성이 좀 이상하다고 생각했는데.1익장이 빠지고 2악장부터 시작한것같네요 곡 설명에 올려놨으면 좋을텐데..^^ 정말 훌륭한 연주네요. 에스메의 장점은 실키하고 아름다운 1st 의 음색과 완벽한 하모니인듯요. 얼마나 많은 연습을 할지..상상이 안됩니다.^^
