Poor indie. She was not ready to be left alone. I’m guessing hers will be next since it’s half done. They do need their own space. I’m glad es is still willing to sleep with her. Indie has always been the most sensitive of all the girls. It's still brand new to them all !! In time Esme will want to be w/ Indie more often ,whether it be in her room or Indie's ,or Scarlett's or Evie's lol

The room is just gorgeous, Esme! Esme just needs time to claim her space as her own. I do hope you can explain this to Indie and make her feel extra special , too when fixing her room up. It is sad to feel rejected, but I think you did the right thing by giving them their own rooms. Your room will be AWESOME, too, Indie! I can't wait to see it!

It's important for every young person to have somewhere to go and escape from their siblings. Having your own bedroom is the perfect place to do that, as it's yours. You have ownership over your own room. You can tell them to kick out and have your alone time in peace... Having the ability to choose when you want to spend time with your sibling and when you dont is an important skill to develop and helps with self-regulation.

That picture is definitely Esme. But I said before made my sister share her room then we moved. She got her own room to stop the fighting, but mom would come in and find us in each other‘s bed at one time one of us we were doing it so much she threatened to turn my sisters room into a craft room if she didn’t start using her room again, but it still be times we sleep with each other

Beautiful room Esme, just like you. Now, this is just an idea; and I assume the dirls have a lot of stuffed animals, but what if you go to Bulid a bear, they make bears/ animals with their style, put a little sound in it saying "I love you" and give the bear/animal with their style to the other twin they shared a room with. That way at night if one twin wants to cuddle the other twin and the other twin doesn't, the cuddly twin has something to cuddle that reminds them of their twin.

Wallpaper Tip. When you do choose wallpaper see if you can get self adhesive. It can be easier to put up than wallpaper that needs pasting.

Have you ever thought about getting tension curtained rods they fit? In the wind to sill there are a lot easier to hang.

They seem to have wanted the curtains to hang outside the window frame, for decoration (as Esme explained), more than for light-blocking. They have a shade to block the light.

If you have a hobby lobby go there for the next one they have great pictures etc. You can always make an accent wall instead of wallpaper. Each girl could have a different color.

feel kinda bad for indie but prehaps if im not mistaken indie is a total lovingly disaster. loves to spread out and is a mess. she was the stopper in utero and there was videos of het totally stretched out in her incubator. so prehaps bringing that prespective will help.
