I’m a fan of Mamamoo and their music, so I selfishly want them to stick together and renew their contracts. But they have to do what’s best for them. At the moment, they’re the biggest act on their label. It wouldn’t be wise of them to prematurely announce their plans to resign. Since they’ve shown their worth & popularity, they have some leverage & negotiating power.

As a moomoo RBW is and always has been a company that is all talk and has never protected their artists. I could go on a 10 page rant with specific examples truly and it’s disgusting. I’m so sorry to eSNa for what she experienced. As someone who’s been listening to that company’s artists since 2014 I’ve always loved her work and the other brilliant work she’s contributed with her songwriting. This situation was always speculated to have happened similar to what she revealed here. I saw those negative comments to her when Ahh Oop! released and it made me so mad because she never deserved that. As much as I love the song I would have loved it just as much if she released it alone and she and Mamamoo had collaborated on something else. RBW never protects their artists. All they care about is image and the reputation of the company. They threw eSNa under the bus for Mamamoo’s image but they would also throw Mamamoo under the bus in a heartbeat if they thought they had to protect the company’s image. That’s why I laugh when they call themselves a family. eSNa if you’re reading this I support you and you’re an incredible and brave artist. I love you girl! Please one day start an artist’s company with Moonbyul (Byul said she wants to start a company) because I think you both would know how to treat artists properly

I'm a moomoo who kept following on esna ever since Ahh Oop released. Back then, I was like "this song was such a bop" and I got amazed by how esna was such a great musician, not just a singer. The fact that the company itself let her go implies that they know how trashy they had been to her. I feel so sorry for the girl who loves music so much, who hoped to make a debut with her own written song was treated as hell. Esna, this was really so heart-breaking to watch. I can't imagine how you kept silent for so long before releasing this all out... It was supposed to be your song and as much as I love mamamoo and the way the song turned out, I would have rather it be your own debut song as that was originally what you had intended it to be. My blood boiled hearing about how the company coerced you into making it a collaboration song and continued to fuck up, not giving you credit, making you lose weight before the broadcasts (did they even read the lyrics of ahh oop????) and taking the side of netizens so that you would stop promotions. Not gonna lie... This hurts quite a bit to know as a moomoo. I used to think of Esna as a big sister to MMM. And now I believe they were put on a screwed up situation with each other. As artists, they should indeed be opinionated about the music they perform. But from Esna's perspective, I do get how that could be slightly hurtful. And I don't think she blames any of it on MMM themselves, but I suppose this kind of situation leaves a bitter taste behind no matter what. For that we can definitely say arbidub fucked up, obviously! And my thoughts of Esna and MMM being super close has definitely faded a lot after this video. Sadly so! The funny thing is, when hwasa got into controversies for the way she dressed at the mama stage 2018. The I remember the company released a statement said something along the lines of if hwasa wishes to wear it then she can. I believe this was done because even though it was a controversy it benefits mamamoo’s image as strong and powerful women who can do what they want. 저는 마마무 팬이며, 에스나님의 거의 모든 곡을 다 다운받아 주변사람들에게 추천해주고 있고, 아픈 곡이라고 하시는 아훕. 너무 좋아합니다. 회사와 에스나님의 처음부터 삐걱댔던 이견은 꿈에도 모른 채 그저 "그립다. 콘서트 때 에스나님이 서프라이즈~! 로 나오셔서 같이 하는 무대를 또 보고싶다." 하던 곡이었는데... 아훕은 온전히 에스나님의 노래였네요. 보여주셨던 반응들이 이제야 이해가 갑니다. ahh shit을 내셨을 때 질타하는 네티즌에게 통쾌한 한방이기도 했지만, 연예인이 악플에 너무 성급하게 반응하는 건 아닌가?라는 생각도 들었었어요. 지금 돌아보면 정말 짧은 생각이었죠. 악플뿐만이 아니었을텐데. 참고 참고 참다가 내셨던 영상이라는 것을 알게 되니 괜히 죄송스러워집니다. 엠카 첫방송 무대에 참여했었습니다. 아직도 기억이 납니다. 마마무의 팬이었지만, 마마무에게는 조금 미안하게도 당시 현장에서는 에스나님밖에 보이지 않았어요. 그만큼 충분히 매력이 있으셨고, 이후 짧은 활동기간인데도 왜 안나오실까 라는 아쉬움이 항상 가득했습니다. 회사가 나빴네요. 여전하고. 마마무와 같은 행사에 참여하신 적이 있어요. 또 들을 수 있지 않을까 하는 마음에 늦더라도 꼭 가야겠다고 다짐했었습니다. 행복하게 노래부르시던 모습. 그 때 정말 멋있다고 말씀드려주고 싶었는데 말하지 못했습니다. 노래부르시는 모습이 바람과 잘 어울렸고, 관중을 리드하는 모습 정말 멋있으셨습니다! 아훕. 아픈 노래였지만 보듬어주시고, 염치없지만... 언젠가는 함께 불러도 마음 편히 들을 수 있는 곡이 되어있었으면 좋겠습니다. 항상 응원합니다!

Just a few things I have to say about this - first of all, the Ahh Oop is one of the best song/ collaboration of Mamamoo and it's still one of my most played track. - netizen's comments are majority of them time hating on artists, and you really can't let them win it get to you. Rbw always let's them win. - Esna really directed Mamamoo perfectly, and you can see some of their best vocal works from her. - RBW is shit. They don't protect their artists at all. Esna should have kept promoting with Mamamoo. They care so much about the image of Mamamoo, and they don't care about the girls at all. The amount of times Korean fans have shit on wheein (like that motherpumpkin case) and made HER apologise when it wasn't her fault..... Even right now there's so much hate and misinformation about Mamamoo especially Hyejin and imoos are going mad trying to tell them, but of course we are being ignored. - imoos are boiling their own blood for Mamamoo and we get nothing in return. Except cmoos being exploited by rbw -i am blood investing my own damn money into fan promotions. Why? All of this is RBW's work. Fans are literally doing everything for them and they can't even protect their damn artist. I know all the mistreatment we see by music shows and awards towards Mamamoo, rbw does nothing to stop it. Probably makes them apologise. There's barely any good promos or PR - Basically I want Mamamoo to do nothing with rbw and redebut as ot4 is some other company. I am done with RBW's shit.

Zico would sign them instantly, he has been a fan since the beginning. He loves Mamamoo. Heck, anyone would sign them. But I would want it to be a company that cares. Pnation could work (Jessi has talked about how much more freedom and support she gets). RBW is great at music, but just terrible at promotion and understanding the market.

It was a little late when I knew of you so while I looooove Ahh Oop!, I remember CONSTANTLY trying to find live performances of the song with you in it!!!!(because I love it when its live and the sass feels genuine and real) I was disappointed to not find many at all on the internet, and did question why, but boiled down to perhaos you were busy. The live performances were SO AMAZING I felt alive!! So I thought it was a complete missed opportunity that I have to live with. Aah Oop was my The Song. It's what helped me realize that what was going on in Kpop wasn't just pop-but-more, it was worth taking seriously. 아직까지 아훕이랑 행복하지마 등 에스나님이 써주신 마마무 노래들을 가장 좋아하는 무무(마마무 팬덤)인데요 그동안 노래들을 그저 좋다고만 생각하며 소비하고 있었는데 생각하지도 못했던 비하인드 스토리를 알게 되니까 너무 죄송해지네요. RBW가 일은 못해도 노래는 정말 잘 뽑는다고 생각해왔는데 이 모든 배경에 이런 강요가 있었다니 참 안타깝습니다. 소속 가수들을 위해 있는것이 회사인데 회사가 에스나님을 보호해주지 못할 망정 억압하고 그럴 수 밖에 없는 상황을 만들어가다니 말도 안되는 상황이라고 생각이 되요. 많은 시간이 지났고 결과적으로 에스나님은 소속사를 나가셨고 마마무는 세계적으로 잘 되어서 노래가 더 알려지기는 했지만 이런 대우를 받으면서 만들었단 노래라면 자신의 노래가 마음에 들었어도 정말 말로 못할만큼의 화가 났을 것 같아요. 아직까지도 이렇게 생생하게 기억하고 계신 것을 보니 이것 말고도 사소한 차별이 많았을 것 같은데 다행히 잘 이겨내신 것 같아 정말 다행이에요. 이 일 이후에도 계속해서 좋은 노래를 만들어주셔서 정말 감사드리고요 이 일은 더 알려져야 된다고 생각합니다. 앞으로도 항상 응원합니다. 오래 음악 해주세요. 댓글 하나지만 에스나님께 조금이라도 위안이 되고 힘이 되었으면 좋겠습니다.

Hey eSNa I am a moomoo, I am sorry such things happened to you. As a fan, I can always feel that RBW has not been protecting their artists, and it was such a shame that they had no respect for you. Even for Mamamoo, RBW has been pushing with all the schedules everywhere, ignoring the members' health. For instance, during their Japan promotions, I witnessed how Wheein was not feeling well due to the tight schedule, subsequently made her missing Kcon LA, which was only a day or 2 after their Japan promotions. Now, it is also obvious that they are very profit-minded (understandable in normal commercial situations but RBW has been obsessed with it), as they are tailoring all kinds of activities exclusively for the Chinese market, including goods and fan meetings etc., so as to generate more income for their boy groups as Mamamoo is the highest earning idol in the company. The way that they release the goods for moomoo and the poor management which led to the insufficiency of the albums during pre-orders on numerous occasions (which hurt the 초동 performance) not only show the lack of cautiousness from the top, but also display a general disrespect to both Mamamoo and the fans. I am glad that you have ended the contract early with RBW, and I wish you all the best in the pursuit of your music career.

One of Mamamoo's songs that I would replay every day is Ahh OOp especially with Esna's voice in it because I just love it and your voice compliments the song so much more that I've always thought you should collaborate more with MMM. To hear this the first time as a Moomoo who's been following them since 2014 is flabbergasted and shocking. I am so sorry that happened to you. It's very unfair for your hard work to be like that. RBW has only one "good thing" and that was eventually allowing mamamoo to choose for themselves which is what companies should do. 에스나님이 부르신 아훕 앨범을 먼저 내고 마마무랑 콜라보한 버전으로 리메이크앨범 냈어도 두 버전 다 사람들한테 충분히 사랑받을 수 있는 노래인데...🥺 마마무는 이 노래가 에스나님에게 어떤 노래인지 모르고 그냥 좋은 노래로 콜라보하는걸로 알고 원하는 파트말하고 열심히한건데 에스나님은 눈뜨고 코앞에서 노래를 뺏긴거니 속이 상하는게 당연하죠 거기다 활동하면서 자신의 이름만 몇번이나 빠져있는걸 보면 가수로서 자존심도 상하는 일이죠 저는 아훕을 최근에 알게되서 음방영상 봤는데 가창력, 음색도 좋으시고 자기만의 스타일이 있는 것 같아서 에스나님이 되게 멋있는 아티스트라고 생각했어요 왜 빠지라고 한건지 이해안갈만큼 다섯분의 무대가 좋았어요 어떤 사람들이 악플을 썼는진 모르겠지만 이런 상황을 알았다면 그렇게까지 악플을 남기진 않았을 것 같아요 그걸 알고도 욕한다면 공감능력이 약한 정신이 미성숙한 사람인거죠 근데 전 마마무팬으로서 정말 안타깝네요 다섯분이 함께한 버전이 너무 좋아서.. 이런 아픔이 있을거라곤... 힘내요! 에스나님!
