@@CalmConcept It must be due to something technical, it doesn’t make sense to split the player base. Another thing I’ve noticed is the economy on pc is inflated, that would would balance out but hit some console players hard. There’s also the unique player/guild names issue as well as no addon access on console

I'm willing to bet this encroaching jungle is how they further tie up the change in Cyrodiil's landscape. By the time of Tiber Septim, it may have overrun the entire province, and his ascendance to godhood involves reversing this change and correcting history itself.

Same here, the game manages to provide a solid single player experience despite being an MMO. I just wish they updated those darn static trees and add some wind to the foliage. Also please, add some more (and taller) trees to Skyrim.

I joined ESO in 2014 in Beta.. Its still the best MMO actually playable. But time comes to an end for ESO. AoC´s Alpha 2 is starting this Year Q3 and they know.. When AoC maybe releases in 2026/2027 all other so called "MMOs" ARE DONE! But i had great years with ESO, thank u for that

I've been playing since 2016, I usually take some months off every now and then, but even when I'm not actively playing the game I can't help but be delighted at how these announcements always seem to be so genuine in their passion. You can tell these people are indeed working for a company, but they are also pouring their hearts in it. Amazing work everyone, I cannot wait to try the new chapter!

They're excited about how much cash they can rake in without having to lift a finger - this is more recycled garbage with outsourced storyboarding pasted onto old assets with anything slightly new being shoved into the cash shop. If you're going to buy, make sure you buy from a key website, hopefully the stolen credit card those sites use gets charge backed and you can play the new chapter without these frauds getting a penny

Agreed. Love the imperials in general, but especially Colovia. It's so nice to see them really getting fleshed out and the differences between the Heartland, Nibenay and Colovia made more apparent. Plus more Imperial armour sets!

Except AD already in it's plot stated Skingrad is place from which Tharn's imperials attacked Reapers March Arenthia .... sooooo unless Skingrad is Molag Bal, Tharn supporter worshipping pit, then they create blatant plot hole. Also Skingrad was the most boring city in TES IV so yeah .. to attach it to Necrom's plot ..

@@cracmar03 Molag bal was defeated as far as the story is concerned, the DLCs are all sort of chapters in a story but because this is an MMO you can still interact with the older parts of the story despite the overarching narrative being past that point.

The West Weald! Skingrad! OMG so many amazing memories. Oblivion was one of my all time favorite ES games! I can't wait to explore that zone!! I have been playing ESO since beta and I always play a Breton in ES games, so when I finally entered Glenumbra and Daggerfall, it was like a home coming. I will never forget this feeling. ES has inspired me so much over the years. Your lore is impeccable and your worlds are amazing. Thank you for all the good times!

the sad part is knowing that there's hype for Ithelia, and the story will build her up as some sort of end-of-the-world threat, and then she'll offer you a challenge as hard as a common delve boss, meanwhile, Kra'gh the Dreugh King, the first boss from a some low-level group dungeon is still offering more of a fight than any of the daedric princes combined in the entire god danged game.

Yea now Microsoft owns the series... ES6 may be completely garbage compared to Skyrim/Oblivion/Morrowind. I haven't played the first 2 so I can't talk on that. However, eso is my absolute favorite game and has been since launch. I still play Skyrim on occasion. All other games just don't feel good since I've been spoiled with the Elder scrolls series as a whole. Edit: ok ok I thought Bout my statement. The souls series is also amazing, including Seirko and elden ring. Excellent amazing games. However, I always turn off the online gameplay. Try Hole got really old and juvenile. But, elden ring was super beautiful and well done loved it!

I think they patch up plothole from Deadlands dlc. Remember Deadlight ? Whole thing about that location was the fact that it is forgotten, dead Daedric Prince. A prince that Mehrunes Dagon killed only to forbade any of his follower to ever utter their name. Which is very peculiar demand for Dagon to make. And Ithelia very much matches Deadlight, in manner that Hermeus Mora covered up her death so much as to remove any trace of memory from everyone about her existance, inclueding fellow Daedric Princes.

Honestly I am more burned on "If we don't do this Tamriel will be doomed" plots. Morrowind-Summerset (Court of Bedlam will reshape Nirn to their liking), Elsweyr (Dragons will enslave us all), Blackwood (Dagon will come and destroy Nirn), High Isle (so Druid King can threaten everyone with nature power on Nirn) .. now Necrom-Gold Road (If you won't save Apocrypha, the ties to Nirn will damage it as well). Only exception was Greymoor since whole thing was that we DO NOT know what Rada planned exactly to save his people. It was just a guesswork, and bad one at that, on our behalf.

My excitement is killed every time I log in to see the gambling boxes are still a part of the game. Horrible trap for people susceptible to gambling addiction and poor impulse control, especially kids. Who would pretend kids don’t play this game, and knowing that they already limit promiscuous dress, but somehow gambling within the game is okay. Blows my mind. Ultimately it only hurts the game and its fans.. While filing the pockets of leadership.

Well if kids play this game, then blame is on parents sadly. In my country ever since Morrowind the game is 18+ so Mature only. You have loads of kids play say GTA Online, another one 18+ and yes kids emptying parents credit cards to buy Shark Cards is a thing as well.

@@cracmar03 you are 100% correct, BUT there’s no responsibility on the casinos end to make sure kids have NO access to the casino floor? They know they have a responsibility to keep kids out, legally if they do allow kids there to gamble at all, it’s not the parents who get in trouble it’s the casino. Same with strip clubs. The reason why this becomes diluted when arguing semantics or ideology is because the online sphere is new and there’s little to no protection for kids online especially where those protections ARE in place in the physical world for say strip clubs or casinos etc. Ultimately if a casino or strip club tried to push blame on to parents, they’d lose. Because they own the venue so it becomes their responsibility. But remember, we don’t own our games anymore, and you acknowledge this when you sign the TOS. The company owns it and has full responsibility over it and what happens in it (ideologically, hate speech whatever your opinions are on that, or legally with threats of violence). Those protections I just mentioned are in place supposedly to protect people from harm (not physical harm though). So it’s funny to me when those protections are in place and they believe it their responsibility to do so.. but when it involves making money in a predatory way, every excuse is used to allow it to happen on the platform THEY own and control (no different than a venue or club in my opinion other than it not being a physical place you are at) and they make that clear in ToS. Ultimately, for now, this is an ideological argument, yes. But you see that changing primarily in Europe right now. Which is sad, because American Law which prides itself on protecting kids have done so well when it comes to physical places in which kids are disallowed. But when it comes to online America has dropped the ball and other countries are recognizing it and changing their law to fit the times. There’s a saying in law (at least when I went to law school).. ‘Law, when just, is contagious, and those seeking just law will follow suit. If there is no just law, society crumbles. When law becomes tyranny, rebellion becomes a duty.’ Protecting kids legally from gambling under the guise of surprise mechanics in a RPG online.. that is just I would say, but again this argument for now is ideological, so all I can do is argue my point of view (which I know many share) and hope there is change. Also in the very beginning of ZoS TOS for ESO, they specifically refer to minors, playing their game. Lmao

Oh gods Lady Arabelle was soooo annoying. I especially loved Master Spy who run directly into a clear bobby trap so she can't wave her sword around at enemy. Leramil was meh ? I still poke myself in head over forced romance between her and that Dead Keeper. Apparentely they fell in love at first sight due to both of them having atrocious hairstyles ... I still pity that if you cut out Necrom from Necrom chapter, literally nothing changes. Such a waste of good opportunity for lore dive on dunmers ancestral worship ....

@@cracmar03 Omg, Leramil has also a romance :))) I am glad I did not continue with the Necrom story. I still have other stories from the past to finish. I don t know what happened to them, the lore and stories used to be great, very Elder Scrolls style. now it s just a woke crap. And about Necrom, why add Morrowind in the title? Other than the giant mushrooms there is nothing reminding of Morrowind. Even the music is off, general boring annoying crap. I still log in eso just to spend time in Wardenfel, they did such a great job with that chapter. Da fk happened to them?

I've been playing ESO since it released for PC back in 2014, and in that time this game has become by far the best MMO out there in my opinion. And it really feels like the passion that the developers have for this game has just increased over time, and with every expansion since the Dark Brotherhood they've just knocked it out of the park. Morrowind, Clockwork City, Summerset, Murkmire, Elsweyr/Dragonhold, Greymoor/Markarth, Blackwood/Deadlands, High Isle/Firesong, Necrom... Each expansions somehow more amazing than the last, and always on point.

Happy about Skill Styling, worried it's gonna get expensive after the chapter though. On the optimistic side they still haven't sold a single follower which I also thought was gonna be heavily monetized system. On the subject of Skill Styling though, I'd like to see the current useless Illusion gems (and similar) be applied to the system as like ultimate effects or something.

Luuuuuul So much "unlike anything you've ever seen before!" Holy cow, so much crap they're just pulling out of their butt. Brand new lore-breaking daedra, brand new lore-breaking prince, brand new lore-breaking zone event that literally no one remembers in the future even slightly. Boy, oh boy. It's so great to pull so much crap out of their butt as if it weren't a game based on a massive franchise with already super rich lore. And then they have the gaul to say that "Play Your Way" isn't just a pillar, but one of ESO's BIGGEST pillars. Oh yeah? You want me to play my way? Bring back the previous champion system and tree. I had my tree exactly how I wanted it, had the mount perk that increased my speed and made it harder for me to dismount and everything. But no. You introduced stupid bullcrap active and passive slots, we can't just have all our points actually being useful, oh heck no! All the work and effort we put in actually DOING something for us. OF COURSE NOT! I liked how my characters and their classes worked before. I liked playing the ways I was playing with the systems I was playing with and doing the things I was doing with all of it. THAT WAS MY WAY TO PLAY. Whoever's directing the progression of your game should be ashamed and fired. There are so many things changed and added brand new that no one asked for, thought they wanted, or even found out they wanted after experiencing the things while there are so many things that players have been clamoring for for absolute ages that get constantly ignored, a server wide auction house being the BIGGEST one. I mean, ffs, the most popular mods for your game of all time are literally mods that basically work as server wide auction houses. And then there's scribing. The "big" new combat addition which, as it turns out, is literally just three tiny changes in an ability on a weapon. Oh boy. Oh, though players do get color variations of spells. That's a thing. So yay? I suppose people have been asking for that for a while, so it is nice to see, but as usual it feels like a million steps back and one step forward in terms of the devs making the game and its various aspects more convoluted, annoying, grindy, and nonsensical. What utter bullcrap. I wish I hadn't invested anything, time or money, into the game. I wouldn't have had I known they had such utterly terrible updates in mind such as basically everything that's happened since this new champions point system that removed the previous champions tree and added the active/passive nonsense. It's all been bullcrap since then, just gone down hill and holy cow I wish I could get a refund for all the money spent, I feel utterly ROBBED. The devs consistently make changes and add new things that go directly against what the playerbase often says it wants and that whole schtick of the devs treating it like they're the only players while turning around and lying through their teeth about listening to the player base and trying to do fun stuff for them has grown far more than old at this point, it's veritably ancient and everyone other than the devs are tired of the nonsense.

Dude it's more like finally patching a plot hole. Brand new Prince is been a thing since Blackwood. Deadlight remember ? A fully dead unknown Daedric Prince ? Also daedra kind is pretty varied, I wouldn't budge much about new type of daedra given how many realms of Oblivion we've never seen. You tell me. I want STUN on Teleport Strike to enjoy my pve Nightblades. But no. They removed stun so now I have to scrap anywhere with Nightblades to get RANGED STUN back. I need them for guards with lanterns in Black Sacraments missions for gods sake. That stun wasn't even affecting pvp so why the hell was it removed .. I don't need empower, I need stun. And yeah Scribing being about ONLY weapon skillines is a big bummer. There is a reason why I don't use that many weapon skills ...

right this is a HUGE problem. all new content just feels like the same old content because they NEVER update or fix the quality of the graphics. Major reason I will not play. Is there an issue with wayshrines travel It is 1/26/24 and I can choose locations but will not let me select unlocked wayshrines. Been away for a while due to life but played since beta. Trying to get to High Isle DLC and boats are okay but choosing Ebenheart it took me to the reach and the earth forge. I finally am able to do High Isle with the deluxe edition.

Wishlist: 1. Gameplay reworked from the ground up to catch up with 2024 state of videogame gameplay 2. Graphical remaster, higher resolution textures, better lighting engine, ray tracing, patch tracing, dlss 3.5 with frame generation, etc Bethesda and ZeniMax are now part of Microsoft, the biggest company in the world with over $3 TRILLION market cap. They have the in-house tech and in-house help from other experienced game developers form the many gaming studios they have acquired to finance and develop this serious remastering undertaking of ESO for it's 10 year anniversary! No excuses other than developer incompetency and lazy management.

The first event isn't specifically about the DB, it's an event where you can do daily quests for Wrothgar, Hew's Bane, the Gold Coast and the Imperial City It's not a DB focused event

I play since 2014 and this game is completely outdated now. Only arcanist feels good and fresh. Graphics (im not a graphic nerd tho) could be upgraded (its a pain in the eyes to look at old blurry textures in wqhd), token to change class could be added (due to totall boredom to complete all quests again as new char if you did it SO MANY TIMES SINCE 2014) and whole old content could be reworked not to scare newcomers. Specially with all of that prologues stuff. Make an option to follow quests in chronological order for COMPLETELY NEW PLAYERS.

So 10 years and still no spellsword option. Or any new weapon type. Scribing sounds like a cheap way to make a "skill line" for all classes instead of making you able to customize your actual class skills. Hope I'm wrong but I'm not excited.
