ESO - All About Mechanics - Dread cellar - (Vet HM and Secrets)

These videos have given me the confidence to take these dungeons on. The thing is, I know I'm a good healer, but I lacked the understanding of the mechanics. Thanks to your videos, my first run on Red Petal Bastion helped me complete it within the time limit, and we go no deaths. Tomorrow, I'll be doing Dread Cellar...so massive thank you from me.

I'm proud of my group we did this first day out I tanked it. I didn't know about secret bosses until now and we did struggle on the bosses learning mechanics but this is a fun dungeon

well, perhaps I will repeat some comments,.... though. Mechanics Scorion: Some of them seem mysterious, but have an explanation. First: Damage control is key. You can play every phase to its point, when you keep monitoring the boss percentage. Every ten percent something happens. At 90: first ads spawn, shockslayer and the fire skeleton. kill the shockslayer first! needs to be interrupted or heavy damage lighting aoe. if you stop damage total on boss. you can easily play them down. than at 80: boss spawns to stone. if you do not get the stone done in time, boss will be enrage! means, he does this great aoe, wich will slow you (2 x dogeroll!!) and kill dds. IT IS NOT an execute mechanic. it is right to focus only on the ads (deadroth and the twohander). again. if you do not damage the boss, you can play ads easily. and than go to next phase.... 70 percent: new shockslayer and fire skeleton.... than at 60 stone.... and so on.... it takes it time to do it exact and just do damage to ads or boss but not both and overlapping mechanics. most tanks die with four ads and boss. it really helps when the heal only look out for tank!!! the one mechanic from the scorion is to shoot out really a lot of little aoe circles. They where filling up. so if you stand near the boss, you get less damage. the further away the more damage hit. and when the red aoe damage indicator is gone and the aoe moves on, they become oneshots. so stay close. Importand for dds and heal: never stand in front of the scorion!!!!! the kone aoe from boss kills so fast, but the tank can do heavy attacks :D have fun

It was my first day back for 4 months, did a random and this popped up. Not the dungeon I was hoping for, trying to get use to tanking. Anyways, had a really good group and got through it pretty easy. I just picked things up along the way. But it was good to go back, watch this and see what I did wrong and didn’t understand as a Tank. We didn’t do the secret bosses.

About to do this on vet for the first time, it'll be a pug (yea I've no mates- jus call me Billy!) Was going to take my healer but after watching this I'm going to tank it. On that first main boss how do you stop him from doing the heavy uncleansable dot? It did some insane damage to me on hard mode as the tank and the death message said something about killing the crystal I think. You know anything about how long you have to kill the crystal or if it charges up its damage in increments? Not trying to make things up just trying to make sense of the death message I got LOL

Kill it as a priority or take more and more damage. Simple as that. All in the written guide. Tip...also in the video. Bring...heals...

18:13 After watch this, maybe I don't have chance to get this secret. Because, everybody of NA server player want to run just like the roller coaster in the dungeon only to get set equipment or pledge reward ASAP. I've never seen people who try to explore the dungeon just like this movie...

sec boss - hm - burst - needed group dps 120k - easily with fire behemoth help: first you need to know, there will be skeleton fishs with a shield. players attached to an fish can see, that the shield is gone. but only for the player with the beam to the fish or fishs. this player can kill his fish with lightattack and spammable. tanks and healer kill fish with two light or heavy attack. if you try to kill a fish with a shield, it has so heavy resistances.... dont try ;) this is top priority: you see fish with beam to you, you kill it. instant ;) you get slowed, very very slowed. second. perhaps kill ads in aoe. bossfight beginning: if you look into the room, tank boss and atros in middle of left side. tank looking to right side. dds and heal "stack at boss" with the right wall in back. so tank can see and say when the ugly death walls come. also he can guide you a little if there is just right a hole in the wall.... so, tank has to spot boss first since the initial aggro is chaos. heal activates the fire behemoth and blows the horn. dds ulty drop. stay close to behemoth. he fills up with bash light and heavy attacks so you can use the synergie. even tanks can get 60k dps with that synergie. wall of death phase: run!!! do not look after dps. just look out for the tricky to see f#+*# walls and look out for the fish!!! after the wall the boss will stand and cast skulls. you have to doge them. if one is dead, you can not revive. after skull phase yes. now, just burn down boss. and keep cool if you have to play a second wall-phase

i only hope people start watching guides like this before going into dungeon, they always expect other experience player to educate them about the mechanics but they are too lazy to see guide like this to easily understand what is happening.

Had a hard time taking the last boss on vet with a pug that I came into Portal of apology. It seems like they probably skipped those spires because they skipped lots of ads that I had to dodge on the way to the fight XD and I will say that it did seem like he was hitting alot harder, considering I had already Tanked that on vet a couple times successfully
