I got a blue bear from a crate I got for free in 2017 yesterday. Apex radiant didn’t cost me a penny LOLz. Hadn’t played in 5 years, now I’ll stick with it

Even for $ 50 a cosmetic item should be just obtainable with achievements. You already pay for the game. You have monthly sub. Instead of them working non stop on cosmetic items they can put this time and energy into creating content instead. Give people something to work towards. I miss the times where this was a thing. Where you see someone with a cool mount and you immediately know how much of an effort and time they put into the game to achieve that. Gaming has become such a sad sad money leech it’s insane. I mean the fact there’s even cosmetic shop items in single player games speaks about how predatory this whole thing is.

Couldn’t agree more. It used to mean something when someone had epic armor, a mount, etc… now it means they have a gambling problem. So I guess it still means something. Lol I find myself moving more and more towards tabletop because of the current state.

Only buy crowns twice a year when on sale. As you state in video it is indeed twice a year that I have seen over the last few years

Dude I saved over a years worth of crowns. I spent all 20k of them on crates trying get a specific mount when it came back. Dude I didn’t even get a radiant mount or anything like that lol. When my gold cards hit it was always the same non combat pet. I got a life time of poisons and pot and food tho. I did use gems to get a lower apex think I paid 1200 gems. I saved endeavors coins for 2 years and got one finally. 😂 what’s crazy is I gamble I got to the casino and I win! This game is way harder to win on crates than sitting at the card table at a casino. You have better odds playing the Florida Loto.

100% and that’s a crazy story, thanks for sharing. I think it’s because the casino industry, at least in the U.S., is regulated with minimum payouts so the kind of thing you describe doesn’t happen. As it is, crown crates are a huge scam. Kind of sad really.

lol these numbers have been tested again and again. You can find several websites with the data on these things, and I believe there has also been an addon historically to compile all of this.
