Have been a main Healer for so long so trying a tank build for the first time. This has been a valuable insight into a tank build and where to start. I guess my only problem is the race. Thanks, i'll go practice and find out what being a tank is all about.

It's definitely nice that the perfected version of the back-barred weapons are negligible. Because Vet BRP is kind of a pain in the ass, even if you know what you're doing. And just FYI, you can get free Reinforced Livewire legs (Welder's Greaves) from the quest Halls of Regulation and waist (Spare Serpentine Belt) from the quest Most Complicated Machine.

@@_vez They do completely different things. Livewire is a self-healing / debuffing set. Wretched Vitality is a resource sustain set. Did you even watch this video..? And even then, Wretched is inferior to an overland set that no one ever remembers exists; not to mention being _vastly_ inferior to the Torc of the Last Ayleid King.

I run a Templar tank, it's so much fun. I'm running him as a Breton, i don't let the fact that theres no health buffs or anything from Breton passives stop me, if anything its a bit of a challenge for me and I've got the gear and skills I need. i went with him been a bit of a hybrid of DPS/Tank, leaning more towards towards Tank

Il be testing this out on Xbox. See if I can beat my IA score of 270k solo. I was using leeching and crimson from castle thorn. Il try remember to let u guys know how I get on with this setup 👍

Have you considered using daiagna and dune ripper to abuse the templar passive heal bonus. Should be like 6k or more health per tick, i believe

@@akreid4614 doesn't the thrown spear knock back the enemy away from you? it's fine if it still stuns +off balance the uninterruptable targets but it's still the opposite of a gap closer (we tend to 2 man most content)

@ one of the morphs gets rid of the knock back for a guaranteed stun. Edit: binding javelin morph.

This build will not work for end game lol if you’re trying to just do dailies and the normal quests you’re fine if not do not follow this guy he makes zero sense for end game

End game= coordinated group effort to achieve maximum potential based off the specific group. This can EASILY be an end game build IF your group is built to synergize with it. There are SOOO many ways to get all the pieces needed in a group and be successful. For instance, this tank doesn't need a dedicated healer so you could run 9 dps, 2 tanks, one healer. Open your mind and enjoy the possibilities and ESPECIALLY let others do it❤

Playing the same boring homogenized 1h shield/frost staff, crusher enchantment, turning tide, etc, etc build from the last decade is boring as fuck. We all know that this isn't a high-end speedrun meta build, and we all know that meta isn't necessary in the slightest for 99% of content.
