ESO How Much Gold Can You Make Without Trading?! (Elder Scrolls Online 2023)

I don’t know if you ever covered this method on your channel: You can obtain Oblivion set that fills the empty gem every time you kill an enemy. Considering that empty gems are worth ~ 15 gold, you could equip the Oblivion set and go farm 1st lvl of Skyreach Catacombs for xp and reset it every time. Considering it takes a few minutes and there’s tons of mobs, you could easily make 1-2 stacks per run and then simply sell the Soul Gems for 30 gold to NPC. You could also just equip Oblivion set and go make your daily activities passively filling those Soul Gems that make you a nice bonus gold basically for free.

The soul lock passive from soul magic skill line fills tons of soul gems in skyreach

Thanks for this. I just sent a complaint this morning about this. This is the only MMO that I have played that won't let me (casual, guildless soloer) sell at auction.

Yeah, i do personally prefer the auction house or grand exchange from RuneScape as it doesn't rely on RNG and you can see everything in one place, although to be fair this is a unique way of doing things and only ESO do this so its kind of cool. But yes if you dont want to trade others or join guilds its very hard to succeed in the game

It is a lot but writs on 20 characters is THE best consistant money you can get in the game it just takes months to set up lol

It does take a lot of setup and supplying materials to keep it going gets rough the more crafters you have. You do get surveys which help. You can passively make several chromium platings a week which is nice but another factor is fun. Over time crafting writs just wear you out

welll.. okay .... soo..... here's the thing...... i uh... joined a trading guild for the first time, cause i started to hate grinding for gold so much, joined one of those no fee ones, downloaded one of those traiding price add on, made them slightly cheeper then the suggested prices and made like 40 mil in the past few days selling stuff i dont need/use.. so yeah... trading guilds are way to useful. im making a mil a day now just selling the imperial city that cost 5k there kuta enhancement things, yeah, making so much money, i don't even know what to do with all that gold lol.. @@ParadoxESO

Don't play ESO anymore, but I legitimately had a second starter account with characters in trading guilds so I could avoid having to see guild chats or trading guild names associated with my character like , or whatever braindead name that guild leader came up with.

Haha yeah I don’t mind too much personally so I join on my main but sometimes they type some very weird stuff in chat or just spam

@@ParadoxESO Thanks for the video! The hardest part for me was time spent on traders figuring out prices esp. for rare motifs, etc without some global kind of reference point. (I played on console.) Often just guessing!

Every time i tried to sell something even if it was meta took ages, i sold something for 4k gold for buying a 100k motiff and where it was bought i already spend the 100k and had 80k again

Yeah that sounds like either you had a poor trading guild in a rarely visited location. You cana still sell in these locations you just haave to lower your price a good amount from what the items worth. You could have also priced the item too high, generally if an item dosent sell within 48 hours I would look at reducing it slightly unless i know its aa slow selling item :)
