This is 100% the way to learn PVP. It sounds like a joke but you hit the nail on the head! Build for tanky health and sustain, try your best to fight people and survive, and the more you learn the ropes and confidence grows, lower the tankyness and add more damage! At a certain point you hit your own sweet spot that works for you!

Wow. Thanks for this. I’ve done PvP in plenty of FPS, but never really dove much into “magic,melee” PvPs and at times it feels more daunting due to large skill trees, armor sets, and not really fully understanding how they all correlate/combine at times to get the best bang for your buck. This video actually makes some things make sense. And tbh a lot of gamers are too proud or ego based to want to give away “their secrets” so to speak and don’t really care about a lot of players that may not be on their level. Just saying. So thanks for this!

I'm an okay 1vX and 2vX player so I already knew all those but it got recommended and I'm on break so I thought why not watch that video, and I must say you're doing a great job at making the tips and tricks of PvP more accessible, great video everything is clear, I'm sure a lot of people will find that helpful (hell 2014 me would find that super helpful, but I learned the hard way xD) Only one thing tho, 25k hp and resistances? That's very very low in today's meta, I'd recommend 28k hp and resistances minimum, I don't know how the situation is with all the master-dw-vate-destro-dragon's-appetite-maarselokk-40k-arcanists enjoyers over on PSNA but here on PCEU it's absolute hell, anything below 28k hp and resistances will just get shredded instantly

Thanks for the feedback Xash! Much appreciated! And sometimes the “hard” way is the best way to learn.. 🤣🤣. And yeah, as far as the 25/25 rule, I put some carefully placed thought into that number, but only as a bare minimum. The reason why I said 25/25 and then said afterwards, possibly even up to 30/30, is because I felt like a lot of people might make too many trade offs offensively in the aims to try to achieve the 30/30 numbers. And then after I thought even more about the different varieties of “survivability”, not just limited to health and resistances, and all of the types of different builds out there utilizing these different types of “survivabilities”, I felt like the best thing to do is call a minimum of 25/25 and leave it in there that you could, if desired, bring this up to 30/30. Also, I thought about how much the actual SKILL of the player comes into play as well on this… where a more skilled player could likely work with lower than 30/30 or even possibly 25/25 depending on the build. So, because I’m an over analytical crazy nutcase and I thought of even more things than I even spoke of just now, I just settled at 25/25 AT LEAST, for any of those out there that may not have even been hitting that mark yet, and then figured I’d throw the 30/30 out there as well, if they want to take it even further. I know… I annoy myself sometimes too. 🤣 Again, Xash, thanks for taking the time to put forward that feedback, and I hope to see you again my friend! ⭐️

Started pvp last fall. I only use oakensoul. Still more support than anything else can stay alive pretty well through zergs etc and even manage to kill here and there. Ive tried talons and some other stun immobilizer skill but I must be using them wrong because they never seem to work. Can you make a video on tips and tricks for using stums and snares. Thx

What a wonderful video! Ty! I’m rather limited with movement- keyboard turner me (🤭) but I do have an injured finger and otherwise some pain. Any tips on movement - not what you see but the physical movement on the keyboard? I’ve tried an Xbox controller on pc but the sensitivity is all off - come off like I’m drunk and stoned! Maybe someone/you know ways around it? Any advice is welcomed! 😊

I've seen players TRY to use their PvE rotation on my supertank Ragnar T Red. I get clowned on for taking it in to Battlegrounds because it cannot kill till they realize I am there to make them better killers. Then we just get W's.

Sounds amazing! And I’ve done a few similar things before with DK’s. I’d have to say they are probably my favorite class. One thing I can never NOT do, is use Elf Band if I’m wearing Flame Blossom. Because there is a broken and unintentional “triple Proc” of the flame blossom damage. It’s not supposed to do this. But it only does it if it’s paired with Elf Bane. I’ve made 2 different builds with this set combo. One DK and the other a Templar. I’ll link them below. Also- thank you for your support and feedback! I genuinely appreciate you!

At the high end, PvP is extremely formulaic. Plenty of heals, defensive set backbar (always the same 3 to 4 sets), enough recovery to spam defensives, and finally a way to burst kill. It's why necros have been terrible (in pvp) since they changed the harmony trait. That was their only way to burst and now it's gone. Necro needs a ground-up rework in my opinion.

Yeah the Harmony trait nerf was a big killer to Necros. Prior to the nerf I was working on a Self Synergy build. And good advice Mufasa! Especially on the defensive backbar and recoveries available for spamming. 💯

I like how u didnt explain that the only reason u were able to bomb with the sorc build was dark convergence procd. That pulled everyone in and thats automatically a cheese build imo. Still like the channel but dc bombers are not independent of each other or unique in any way. They're all the same. Typically pb is matched with it. If not its just a unoptimized dc bomber build lol.

Kroody- you’re one of the people around here who shoots straight, and I genuinely respect and enjoy that! I’ve seen your comments before and I genuinely appreciate your support of the channel! You’re right- I did have DC in that clip and was messing with some different set combinations BUT…. I might not use it in the final version lol. Actually, check out my “The Remote Detonator” build that I put out before, where it doesn’t use DC but still bombs. I’m trying to remake an updated version of that build presently as it was one of the funnest I’ve had the pleasure of playing! But your insight is genuinely interesting… I wonder if that will be a common thought or feel throughout the rest of the community here, about building this with DC…? I don’t know, maybe the majority won’t care and will just love the ease and cheese lol. But, truth is, for me, I love do do things differently. Uniquely. It’s been one of the staples I’ve built this channel on. Out of the Box builds. But I also didn’t want to repeat the EXACT build “The Remote Detonator” again either. We shall see! Minimum health should be 30k. Bombers can be less, but you'll struggle to survive with 25/25. Also, need 2k crit resist (5 impen trait armor or crit resist cp slot). Armor isn't that great. I run 6k pen + maj breach 6k + balorghs (3k-11.5k). Another missed point, major evasion. Shuffle gives you 20% reduction to aoe. Not as big of a deal I'd you aren't in cyro or don't get near keeps, but most big ults are aoe (leap, db, meteor, etc)
