ESO - LAZY SORC - ONE BAR Infinite Archive STATUS GOD! - Update 41

The LAZY SORC is the ever popular ONE BAR variant of the TWO bar Easy Sorc. Easy sorc has been around in the Elder Scrolls Online for over 7 years now as one of the MOST popular Sorcerer builds in the world because of it's simplicity and capability in ALL content for ALL players!
The Oakensoul ring made playstyles even EASIER with the high isle chapter allowing more accessibility options for ALL players, whether they were disabled, lower skilled or just wanted something simpler to use but VIABLE for all content regardless.
THEN we were given the Infinite Archive! A solo/duo arena with unique buffs and bonuses we can take advantage of! Meaning already functioning builds did GREAT but you could ALSO build a totally different way to ANY style before by taking advantage of these new perks!
In update 41 this has been cranked up to 11 with the changes to Status Effects! Meaning we can build even more to wards the Infinite Archive content/Niche on PURPOSE and benefit in so many different ways vs other content out there!
With that being the case, THIS version of the LAZY SORC (one bar sorcerer build) is designed soley for this content! It can be USED in other content (although the previous version may do better as it is) but in the Infinite Archive THIS version absolutely dominates so long as you take advantage of some very special buffs and bonuses as and when they appear!
This can be used as a SOLO Sorcerer build OR duo, it's totally up to you, but this twist on the build is a GAME CHANGER when considering the new changes.
You are tankier, you have MORE heals and you blow up rooms simply by being hit, or by hitting others!

Well done mate I’m 72yrs and I still can’t get the grips of this game after playing it for 3yrs it’s been made for a computer to play mainly on ,no add ons on ps4 and Xbox it’s a struggle because it’s made to technically for a lay person to understand it but you have made the two videos for people to understand how things work so hats off to you mate and well done keep up the good work Cheers🍻👍 (ps. spamming elemental susceptibility is what I've been doing in IA for a while now after getting enough focused efforts that it was dealing more damage than spamming anything else. Glad to hear they're not concerned yet but definitely bummed out if they eventually change it cuz I do like it XD.

It would be nice if they updated the champion system into describing what abilities are affected by slots on the right hand side of the Warfare tree, i shouldn't have to Google it. Hope they consider doing that it the near future, it would be a quality of life change.

I wish you would have shown this build in action in the archive so we could see how it performs. 26k max health seems low, especially after Arc 8 survivability gets tough. Thoat shards and fire marauders are gonna 1 shot at that stage

Nice vid and very interesting build! Couple of questions: When attacking bosses, notifications of 'Target is Immune' pop up - what are they immune to and how much does it affect the damage output? Does this mean the build is really only optimum for clearing trash mobs?

pretty sure its just you trying to set them off balance again when casting susceptibility but there's a timer until you can proc off balance again

I think I'll combine livewire with sergeants. It has to much heavy attack bonus not to use it. But livewire is definitely something I'll look into, a heal that happens with no effort is perfect, like hexos ward I use on my arcanist. Easy shield

Hmm I gave it a shot, but I couldn't for the life of me make it past the middle of arc 3. Of course, I don't discard the possibility that I may have missed something, but I did try to stick to everything mentioned in the guide. Am I supposed to play more defensively spamming hardened ward as opposed to spamming elemental blockade/weakness to elements?

( I love lightning heavy attacks, but what damage is being applied when is confusing, esp. when trying to decide on verses and visions...)

It would work but you'd have to go 2 bar, it being a one bar with the ring, the staff has to be one of the sets

definitely worth it for trash mobs - not sure for bosses, as there are constant 'target is immune' notifications when fighting them, but I don't know what part or parts they are immune to and how much it affects the damage output vs HA build. I've tried it out on the 2 Clockwork City world bosses and it performs about 10% better than my sorcerer HA build, but haven't used in it IA yet..

Feels like they nerfed the % chance for focused efforts to appear. I used to get it 2-3 times minimum. Also, have you tested this build with Tarnished Nightmare which provides minor breach, spell dmg boost, and instant damage? Might work well, as it has 3 lines crit and hits an 8 meter area similar to the flaming moth set.

On Xbox the hard piece to find was the electric staff. Jewelry and chest everywhere in traders. I’m running it right now with sergeants mail on the body. And light slime for the head

In the archive I think it's a missed opportunity not slotting Occult Overload, as it turns all enemies into bombs applying random status effects and hitting a solid 6k oblivion damage. I nuke mobs with it, but switch out for bosses, unless they have adds.

Tried it out, not even close to min maxed specs on the setup and it effortlessly cleared up to arc 4 with zero deaths. Makes for a solid telvar farming build too.

This is specific to the IA? You lose some damage with crit surge because you're duplicating buffs with Oakensoul. I suspose you chose it for the extra healing?

Yh crit surge is only there for healing consistently whilst being on the offensive as oakensoul covers everything else

Это так не работает, как хотелось бы :) с 5 баффами "черепа" значимый урон был лишь от навыка "Стихийной уязвимости" (Elemental Susceptibility) - около 155к урона. Остальные стихийные наложения, срабатываемые от контузии и поджога с одежды, не давали такого же эффекта. По крайней мере на 7 арке, где у врагов по 1кк XP, как мертвому припарка. Точнее, контузия и поджоги сами по себе урон давали, но бафф на них не действует. И практика показала - не важно, сколько у тебя урон, если ты помираешь с 2х ударов. Эзотерические поножи (Esoteric Environment Greaves) в помощь.

You can still use heavy attack necro. DPS loss with the blastbones debuff but it still works with the stamina morph just is less DPS overall. You'd think ZoS would give necros more DMG skills instead of the insane amount of buffing you need to do on necro but no. They are so detached from the game that it is insane those changes even went through...

Yet so few people do, then ask questions about why they can’t get the build to work well. Also with the new updates (especially to Sorc) I can imagine how many folks who “know what the skills do” will neither read nor understand the U41 changes. I’ve been playing for 8 years now, and still occasionally hear something that I didn’t know, or had completely misunderstood. It never hurts to listen, especially at the beginning of a new patch!

..bruh. His videos literally have section markers in the timeline.. you can lit jump to exactly what you want to see. And around that you can not be lazy and forward/backward by clicking the timeline or keyboard shortcuts, pausing etc.. Yeah i'm probably telling you the obvious right? Well I mean I guess not though because of your comment.. I mean how lazy are you. He does perfect guides. (Id say I wish he showed actual test rather then dummy's.)
