So the rotation basically is this : LA > barrage > LA > Blazing spear > Bar swap > LA > blockade > LA > Vampire’s bane > Bar swap > LA > purifying light > LA > (x2) elemental weapon And repeat all but change between vampire’s bane and rearming trap every rotation. Correct me if I’m wrong . Thanks for the build buddy , much appreciated

How is this working without the MA staff? I have 2 DD chars but non of them can handle vMA and it is not worth the headache and the grind to get the 1 staff, so does it work with x2 BSW staffs instead of MA?

yes, that works, too, but you end up losing some dps.

quite a bit as they don't fit in the rotation due to the channel time and you won't have enough sustain with them.

Hey, I'm a console player eith a Breton Templar and I finally got all my pieces of BSW for this build. I was running Mother's Sorrow/Siroria with Valkyn and I got 33k on my 3 mil test. Not to happy with those results, so I'm looking for a better rotation which lead me here. I have a few questions for you: 1) I see you don't run an execute. Do you get better numbers without one and would you run one in a trial? 2) I need channel focus for resource issues. My mag recovery is about 1130 because I'm not a Vamp. How do you sustain your magicka pool? 3) When do you apply elemental drain to your dummy in your rotation? Thanks for any input.

Hey, I apply drain when it runs out so about every two times I swap to my backbar. The rotation here is rather complex but in all honesty, stick to your old one for now. I'll do more testing on the PTS to see if templars can finally use their execute again. As of right now the damage from the skill is really low. Running into sustain issues makes it even weaker compared to past patches, so if you hit crits for 50k+ in a trial you're actually lucky. I don't really think it's worth it to learn this rotation for just a few weeks, maybe a month for console players, but it's of course up to you. As for sustain, I somehow manage it, can't exactly tell you how. Not overcasting dots is probably the main reason why I can sustain just fine.

Before we get to farm the new trial for Srioria, would it be better to run 5 BSW on the body and mother's sorrow jewelry with staff or 5 mother's sorrow body and BSW jewelry and staff? Just wondering which would be the smallest dps drop when you switch to back bar. Thank you.

I'd personally still stick to the BSW staff on the Templar. Uptimes shouldn't be an issue. You can also try the Thief Mundus. It's as good as Apprentice.

take rearming trap and solar barrage out. You now do 4 elemental weapons and use channeled acceleration on cooldown. Personally tested and getting only slightly lower results.

K Gamer I mean I would say knowing each other quite a bit comes naturally when being in a loving relationship. I can go as far as saying he possibly knows me more than anybody else on this planet. Since the day we met we basically became inseperatable and I wouldn't want it any other way. ❤️

Mother's sorrow on the staff and BSW on the body doesnt soudn clever, since BSW can proc and be active on backbar and MS will loose its boni on backbar ? --> So go MS on Body and BSW on staff... Dont go and buy these MS staves to combine it with BSW ^^ | Edit: you commented below and voted for BSW staff, so I guess it was a misspeak And pls try to stay on every CP section for more than 2s, you're skipping over them so fast that you almost cant keep up talking :P Makes it really hard for ppl to press "pause" if they want to copy / compare them. Beasttrap Channeled Acceleration. The 36s version is so cheap that it wont have any influence on your magicka sustain (with the cast time you're replacing 1 or even 2 ele weapons casts with it during that rotation). While during the other 2 rotations you can skip recasting Trap, and instead cast one more Ele weapon, so it should even benefit you dps wise. And in the newer trials you want to save your stam for all the other stuff happening. The build can also be changed to range quite easy: just swap out barrage with beam (yeah its not really wort it, but still cool), and cast 4 Ele Weapons instead of 2. Replace Beasttrap with preferred morph of the psijic skill.

I just feel with all these mini trials they want the best burst DPS, IE Magblade. But when the longer trials come in...I think they will see time, whether it be range or melee

The cloudrest armors are so overpowered its made most builds basically the same. Its a shame really, makes things boring.

While I agree that they're a tad bit too strong, I don't really think it's any different from before. The last two patches Acuity was BiS on all classes and the same goes for Burning Spellweave and Twice-Born Star in the past. It's just as it's always been but I think we have a bit more diversity as there are multiple options for the second set.

Yeah I agree there has and will always be bis sets just in the past the distance between bis and other sets were much closer. The current meta completely overshadows other sets and makes a massive difference in pve and pvp. All the testers told ZOS it was way to strong on the PTS but it almost seems like they sold morrowind with the warden and now with summerset its not the new skill line but these new sets. Just think its a shame things arent more diverse.
