ESO - MALCOLM! - The "Ultimate" Necromancer Tank build! - (Flames Of Ambition)

That's right! The ultimate spamming Necromancer tank, adapted to change AGAIN in the Flames Of Ambition DLC for The Elder Scrolls Online! This build has been around for some time now and the point of it was ALWAYS to push as much ultimate usage to then benefit the group with lots of options but above all that major vulnerability. And every patch it has done that. But over time it has been NUKED many times due to changes. Each time the game changes and this build needs altering and/or adapting...i have kept up, and this patch is NO different...well...it is BETTER now than ever before.
Before we could push multiple fast ultimate spams from us FOR the group. Now however, you are literally doing that at the SAME time as boosting your group's built in ultimate regeneration so you ALL get faster ultimates! You spam YOURS they spam THEIRS! Win WIN!
Technically this is designed for 4 player content however you can use it in anything you like, even in trials. you will be surprised what an ulti spamming off tank can bring to the group. ENJOY!

I do this in the open world for solo play, frostbite set, Ice heart monster helm, and the ice furnace set. Double frost staff or frost staff with sword and shield for up close magic attacks

Hey. I'm completely new to the game and wanted to ask if a Argonian works fine. I know you're using a Nord and as far as I can tell Nord seems to be the most optimal if played well but Argonian seems to be a bit easier to play in terms of resource management and since I'm a ccomplete noob it sounds like a better option for me - if it's good enough (for a beginner) and works with a similar build.

I know this obviously isn't the best choice for this build, but is Argonian viable? I know I'll lose the Nord ult and resistances, but my sustain would be better and also healing taken would be better right? I have an Argonian Necro Tank made prior to the FoA update and I don't really like buying race change tokens just for RP reasons

Hi using your written guide to make a necro tank but you have ironclad marked as in the fitness tree but ironclad is in warfare so ive taken one out warfare to use ironclad but this changes the overal cp points

How do the passives work? Are they for both weapons? Do you have to have one of the other lines skills slotted to activate/use the passive (like to use the Grave Lord passives, do I have to equip one of the active Grave Lord skills)?

How do you use this build in the beginning before you unlock the morphs of each skill? I'm only missing Vampiric Drain, Reverse Slash, Shield Wall, Bone Totem, Inner Fire, Spirit Mender and Grave Grasp. Also for the main bar, which of the 3 ults would be best, and how to know when to use each?

I have set up my templar tank. But I find it hard to keep my taunt on multiple enemies, I mean around 15 to 30 enemies at once. I tried it in VHRC but still at least 5 or more enemies aren't taunted when I trying to reactivate my abilities quickly. Everthing else is fine to resources, survival and supporting the team. Is there a set or something to help me keep the enemies taunted on me?

There is a set that turns charges or pulls into an aoe taunt, think it’s tormentor….don’t know how it is for vet trials probably not too good but I’m sure it’ll work for trash pulls

I just got the vampire skill set unlocked. How do I raise the vampire level to unlock Vampiric Drain/Exhilarating Drain?

You ARE a vampire so now you just gain exp towards it as you go. Everyday exp is all you need

I already have Bone Tyrant at lvl 4 so that's why I don't understand why the other 2 aren't gaining any lvls.

@@therealhvac I made a switch couple days ago and now I'm using powerful assault/ebon combo as a stage 1 vampire for exhilarating drain. My race is Imperial and ult generation is still really fast. Now I can still bring good utility with my ultimate which is ready almost every time I need it and I can give group buffs thanks to my armor. But Malcolm is still a viable build to use in any content imo.

I'm confused, it helps not only yourself build up the ultimate wich helps in alot of situations whether its reviving the group after they wipe or procing a 30k heal with the Goliath that and "malcom" debuffs the boss as well over ran trails with this and my guild mates enjoy it saying its very useful not so much if they where a WW but other than that Its really useful
