Hi. WoW OG Burning Crusade tank here, This earns my '100% accurate' stamp of approval. Just one note: you forgot to blame the tank for not countering or blocking or otherwise preventing random boss AoE or unpreventable taunt breaks to stun/grab a random groupmember.... Also the stress.

I've made a couple of troll tank builds but mainly for PVP. Talk about lack of damage though... imagine pecking away at one resource guard for 10 minutes trying to kill it only to have it heal back to max, then I'm like well I guess I'm not solo'ing this resource myself.

Started tank and I’ve never looked left or right. It’s fun. I also never catch mobs (I don’t care it makes the VET dungeon a little longer I’m tanking it and still will be when you spent 5 seconds to kill the ads) it’s not that bad, worst part is I’m a warden

After a few hundred hours of tanking I got sick of bad healers. Now I run resto backbar and have full control of the Squishies in my dungeon runs. We might not have as many buffs running but 3dds works well for me.

I have an imperial necromancer tank when I'm in bone Goliath form I have almost 100k health and that reduce cost of abilities from Imperial passives I can block and bash for days with only 20k stamina

wish more tanked, i do every damn role on each character, stay away from dungeon finder on vet, it may be a instant queue..but its a shit show 90% of the time with poor dps fake heals, or queue as a dd for 10 years for it to be a fake tank. It is a lose-lose scenario

I main a tank and honestly rarely want to touch eso due to average player skill. I feel useless in most content, players don't learn mechanics and don't want to watch a video to get better or ask questions to improve. So Everytime i do content, if i don't know the entire group i wont bother tanking or playing. I hate wasting my time for incompetent players. Might sound mean, tanks hate people who suck, it makes the game unplayable for them.

Don't become a tank unless you're able to get into the 0.00000001% that can complete content. Mained a tank over 20 years acrossed multiple mmos. It gets old when 98% of groups can't complete content. Also no one's greatful for tanks. No one will help you or listen for the most part. Please go enjoy other games that are fun and don't torture yourself with the toxic community.

I finally swapped from Tank to dps to now healer. I miss tank but there's nothing worse then doing a random vet daily, getting a hard DLC and having a cp 200 crew.
