Just love it when the necromancer gets it's due! Difficult to achieve but great to see the options you bring to the table for those few rigid classes. Haven't worked much with the scribing aspects yet, but it's fun to watch you and all the others giving birth to all this new and colorful death. As a day one player myself, I think I'm sadly discovering that I'm kind of stuck in the old traditional ways. But you never know until you try, right? Great build, some very interesting synergies I didn’t know. One question: with draugrkins plus your minor defile from your burst heal your healing is taking a big 18% hit. If you swapped out draugrkins for dragons appetite you could use your sythe to apply air bleed status effect or use your dw rending slashes. This would slightly reduce the damage multiplier applied but you’d get no healing penalty. In fact you’d get a big fat burst heal every 5 seconds from the set. AND it’s crafted so you could have heavy chest/ legs for more resistances 🫡

@@IROPP4I Great thinking! But remember we also are using Malubeth monster mask which gives us Major Vitality increasing all of our healing by 12%. And in addition we get the Curative Curse passive as a Necro that increases our healing by 8% if we have a negative effect (which you always will) so we’re looking at 20% right there! But still I like what you were on to! It’s that kind of thinking that gets me in trouble! 🤣❤️

It offers a variety of new skills to build your tweak your build into exactly what you need, and fill gaps that you might feel are missing. For example maybe you want Major Sorcery/Brutality on a Necromancer, now you can use a skill other than Entropy or Momentum, and build that skill exactly how you would like.

I hate to be that one asking if modifications would work as I'm sure you tested the heck out of this before releasing it. You you think sea-serpents+trainee chest would be enough to offset losing the damage/heals/vitality of the monster set? I mainly just know with me always being newbish resistances are a crutch. If I’m reading your message correctly, you are stating that because you believe you are newbish, you like to lean heavy into resistances? Is that correct? And then so basically you are saying you want to lean even more into it than what has been built into it by me? Or are you saying you want to try to break the “crutch” of leaning into it too much and want to try to push yourself away from it and give the sea serpent coil a shot? Sorry, it’s probably just me and the way my brain is processing information right now. In the meantime- let me copy and paste my reply to another regarding the “survivability” of this build getting buffed even more than it presently has come next patch here very soon. Here it is: “That seems to always be the conundrum isn’t it? Damage or survivability. To be honest, for the most part ZOS usually does a pretty decent job trying to keep everything balanced. So that way you cannot have too much of both of those worlds simultaneously. This is actually one of the biggest reasons why I went with Draugrkin on this one. Lots of free extra damage adding up, regardless of the type, and allowing the room for survivability and recoveries. However, if you were still having a bit of issue on the survivability end, then perhaps making some of the changes you made might have been the right call. But keep in mind, as you already stated, this build is getting way better next patch, with several things leaning towards the survivability even more. This means you may not end up needing to tweak it then, as much as you have even now. Going to get our crit out of mystic siphon, freeing up our expert hunter slot. Can put our cleanse there. Going to get major and now MINOR resolve out of summoner’s armor next patch, allowing for a replacement of the vigor heal and buff with something else (maybe a scribed skill heal with a new buff that won’t be redundant). Going to get a buff to our spirit guardian now to pretty much ALWAYS recieve the heal from it as it now heals 3 targets, not just 1 target. You could also change/rework the scribed skill “Dazing Soul” that I had been using to maybe deal a heal up front or over time in addition to its Major Sorcerery/Brutality & Stun.” Let me know if this is way off. Thanks! 💯

As far as the body pieces, I don’t always “optimize” them as it’s too costly in time to farm, or in transmutes to transmute them. Sometimes I do, but I know wether the build is going to suck or be amazing still without spending all my goodies constantly to just simply optimize the traits right before I dump the gear and start working on another new build for you all! 🤣❤️

You need more wpn and spell damage. Status effects is cool but they can all be cleansed easily

If you want to push beyond the 4k wpn/spl damage we got on this one and send it into the 5k-6k range, this can definitely be done with a couple of simple tweaks. First- if you don’t want to overly “focus” on status effects, and you don’t mind just getting them when you get them as just an added bonus, then you could do this: 1-Definitely go back to using the sharpened trait staff with the wpn/spell dmg buff. 2- With l the recoveries on this build you can definitely afford to swap one (maybe even 2 if you are good at throwing in heavy attacks in battle) of the recovery glyphs on the jewelry into wpn/spell damage glyphs. 3- If you’re not pushing as many status effects, or quite as many dots..you could actually swap out Draugrkin for Burning Spellweave. These changes should definitely put you in the mid 5k range. But if you want to take it even further, you could even swap out Malubeth for Balorgh. Thanks for the comment Wildboy! ❤️

This is by far the most impressive necro build ive seen to date that not only showcases the class identity better than ive ever seen but also...the theory craft to make this build...sir...you deserve an award. This build looks FUN and is for a class that is in DESPERATE need of some love...next level. This is groundbreaking for this class as necro is in a terrible place but you have overcome those defficiencies and this build will not only stay viable but get even stronger next patch. You are BY FAR the king of concept and theory craft and just bravo. Thank you for this. I main a necro in pvp and it has been HELL. This build resurects...(no pun)...a class that was dead...(ok...i meant that one). Much appreciation for your efforts. This is gonna be a game changer for Necros. Thank you! I cant wait to build this. This build totally embodies what I personally think of when i think necromancer and how good it plays into the class identity of DoTs and sapping life. FINALLY a necro build that doesnt depend on d swing amd execute which NEVER fit the class identity to me. Perfection! Wishing you and your family the best during this transition period for you. Between you and Avid necro...you guys are keeping the Necro class relevant and pushing it to new heights. And the best part...NO TARNISHED NIGHTMARE! You have to have a lot of know how with a ton of game mechanics...skills.. proc sets and more importantly class abilities to put this build together. There are a TON of moving parts to this build both passive and mechanically. That is by far the MOST impressive part of this build. I really appreciate that the most about what youve done here. This wasnt conceived in 5 minutes just to make a content video OR...using the same sets that eeeeveryone else is using. And finally...you made this on what may be arguably the WORST pvp class in the game but also using the WORST aspect of that going magika/hybrid. Theres just a ton to appreciate in this build and I really do appreciate what youve created here. So take the pat on the back my friend...it was well deserved and earned.

​@@AreaofEffectok...i built this build and boy does it pump out the damage. I mean you can really put spmeone on their heels with the DoT pressure and status affects. That part i really liked. I ran into a couple of issues though personally...not saying everyone will...but i found my crit resist was a little too low and of course you mentioned the mitogation being a bit on the low end...so i was getting bursted down a lot by dirty NBs and i struggled with Sorc burst as well. I found myself having to sub out overwhelming for rallying cry to help in that regard...and i regretfully had to sub out the monster set for mighty chudan to get my mitigation up...but that freed up a spot in place of summoners armor so i went with hexproof. Now that can CLEARLY be just my level of pvp expertise that needs to get better in order to go back to the original build setup. Dual wield Rallying cry maces on backbar....kept all the same skill setups. My survivability went through the roof...but alas...damage output took a dip. Just some feedback from my perspective. Any tips or suggestions to what i may need tp try or maybe im doing something wrong. Now mind you...this is me just solo play in Imperail City testing the build. No healers...or team in BGs. Strictly solo play.

Oh...i added Markyn RoM to help mitogation and pump damage up some. So in the end...with the changes i had to make...it was Dragherken front bar...Rallying cry backbar...Markyn ring...and mighty Chudan to keep from getting bursted. One ultimate change too to Dawnbreaker on frontbar for extra damage as well. Sustain was fine. Probably just my pvp skill level added to being solo PVP in Imperial City. I loved your builds theory craft though...the synergizing and status affect/DoT pressure was rediculous! Just couldnt stay alive and mainly bursted down. Next patch coukd definately be a game changer for this build and the tweaks that could be made as a result of the patch changes to necro. And let me also say...this was my OWN experience with this build. I certainly dont speak for evrryone. The build was fun as hell to play...great pressure damage...i just got bursted a lot.

@@CroLifeESO Yes! That would add even more dot damage. At that point, maybe even consider using the blastbones that blasts into you increasing your DOT damage by an additional 15 MORE percent!
