When I peruse the guild traders I buy all T maps listed for 300 gold or less. Once in a blue moon I find a Deadlands or Blackwood map for that price. Christmas comes early!!

Thanks for the info, Jake! One thing that makes using the maps SO much easier is the map pins addon with the filter for treasure maps turned on. Having that ol' "X marks the spot" is very handy! I have never listed a map for sale, and usually only list motifs if I don't already have them collected. That's just me, though!

I've been collecting maps and when I have 4-5 in the same zone I dedicate time to dig them up. The only ones I have been hesitant with are the Cyrodiil ones bc you can never be sure they can be dug up (one map location is in Bruma for example).

I believe they only give the overland set drops and not the elite trainer drops - the overland loot pool is pretty buns sadly and I don’t believe anything else good is in the loot pool

The cyrodiil maps do full drop the Aldmeri, Daggerfall, and Ebonheart Motif styles

I'm not sure if CE maps drop leads for motifs, I remember buying a bunch when I got Greymoor and didn't get any leads from them just got some basic gear and I think some companion gear when I had companion out. Anyway not 100% certain but think leads only drop from the basic maps, not the CE ones.

High isle CE ones do - I can personally confirm that other DLCs however it’s much grayer on if they do or don’t

Thanks for this video on treasure maps. It's very helpful! From what I understood from another video about treasure maps is the ancestral motifs also drop from Morrowind maps, but they're pretty rare. I have one question: I bought the High Isle collector's edition. Is this enough to be able to use antiquities and treasure maps, or do I need a DLC for that? Thanks for the help and again for the video! It's very helpful 😀

It has the chapters before it so you can go to solitude and start grinding your antiquities skill lines

Panther fang chapel And end game content is defined by generally three subcategories; pvp, pve, or social events. Each isn’t objectively hard to get into and just requires a bit of leg work and elbow grease to get into the right spots

It’s about a 1/3 chance you’ll make 80-100k or 2-3 you make 10-20k ish in gear that may be hard to sell

You’ll see a mound in the ground and you just click A to open it :) - the mound only appears if the maps in your inventory
