sorc WAS best in slot, not anymore. His passive changed from increase dmg to increase phisical and lighting. You dont have such type as WW, Your dmg is bleed ty, even on your heavy and light attacks

Templar Werewolf Tank and Easy Tank with Thurvokun and Meditation and of course sword and board. Love the combo you definitely helped me build for my groups and especially my whole family group. Best caring content out there. Also of course uses 1 set of Tormentors to tank in werewolf form too. Then situation dictates and if poison is just gonna be nuts off the wall...swap out to no werewolf from armory set up then swap back as it makes sense to do so. Thank you! Thank you!

I have been rocking WW on my orc sorc since 2017. Back thin i did it for the extra stam regeneration on sorc, + physical damage on WW. Love the extra speed to sprint and heal from race. To be fair: all i ran on her was normal dungeons solo and pvp.

You should count ult gen of each class. I bet necros transform easier than sorcerers with ult cost reduction.

@nathanpond27 the WW pets are labeled as pets where the warden skill are labeled as animal companions and pets. This is what was explained to me when I asked about pet gear working, but pet passives not.

Animal companions is specifically referring to the warden skill line animal companions, so the bear, shalks, anything from that skill line

NO because they are not from that skill line. Sorcerer passives are "any pets" Warden is "animal companion skills"

It's funny that on paper I'd have to agree with sorc being a better option than warden. At least when transformed. Yet when I'm on gray host I just feel like I am doing better on the warden. Might be due to the fact the snare reduction and toughness buff play well with my tendency to bounce around like a fuzzy white pinball.

I used to tank as a WW with a DK and tormentor set I'm a WW dd on nightblade now using automaton set for extra bleed although this WW is very very fragile and easily get killed

"Automaton" doesn't apply extra bleed or increase to damage to that element/damage type. It increases PHYSICAL damage. You want "Blooddrinker" if you are increasing BLEED damage :)

all of it is really subjective if you really look at it. depends on race to class to content. i do tend to use werewolf sorc more though. i haven't really played much and have not gotten to play since the recent expansion do to financial issues. there is a lot of pre-buff stuff you can do before transforming. favorite is running round with the hurricane.

My warden is the character I had werewolf on lol. I did level up my Sorc werewolf a bit to see if those passives are nice at all. I had lycanthropy on the sorc but never did anything with it.

for PvE - sorc is best, warden is likely second with new passive, then between DK and templar due to pyrebrand. NB necro and arc irrelevant

Just tested Merciless resolve; "when slotted on either bar increases weapon and spell dmg with light and heavy attacks." It does not in WW form.

They don't carry over no. WW is a whole new bar, it ignores the rest and you cannot SLOT other abilities outside of WW on the bar when you are transformed

Werewolf needs more akills and more thigs, vampire can use all class skills and get a free major protection from yhe vamp passive, and only have like 10% more fire damage intake and ability cost, when they can clense themselves lf status effects which are the bain of werewolves, snares, dots etc, also vamps can get HOTs unlike werewolf unless you use the claws which are trash in pvp

NO weapon passives cross over into WW. Glyphs fire, sets proc, but weapon passives do NOT carry over as they are no longer HOLDING a weapon in their hands

Please please tell ZOS to bring light and heavy attack sets back to PVP. Storm master, Undaunted weaver / infiltrator, Infallible mage, etc. These sets made werewolf worth using. Since they removed these sets from pvp, I haven’t seen a werewolf in months. If damage was their concern, they can nerf the damage of each set or have them ramp in stacks. If they are concerned about 40k heavy attacks, just cap single attack damage to 25k or something. Removing those sets from pvp hurt damage as a whole adding to the tank meta. Damage is hard to come about in PVP. Bring L&H attack sets back 🙏🏾
