Did she feel as if food was getting "stuck" in her chest area? And it burned and hurt really bad to the point where you have no ambition to eat solid food? I've been eating yogurt and Oatmeal for 7 days.

@@bjclabaugh5543 yup. She rather vomit it up for pain relief and try to chew the next bite slower and smaller which she ends up doing...She had all her exams. She doesn't need surgery Thankfully

@@makingofakingdommd8723 glad to hear she doesn't need surgery but what are they going to do for her? Also, min seems to "come and go". Like it was terrible for 7 straight days then it just vanished for about 5 days and then it came back for 4 or 5 days and now I dont really feel it anymore. Did hers also do that? I am scheduled for a scope for August 3rd but I dont wanna wait that long and I am so so so nervous about the results. I've lost about 15 pounds in 3 weeks. I just dont have an appetite cuz it hurts so bad. Im only 35yrs old.

@@bjclabaugh5543 When she eats fast which means most people are chewing their food completely, shes in trouble. But to remember to eat slower and really chew that food down so the bolus is not so big, she has no issues. I also put her on a few natural things to heal the gut naturally instead of the the proton pump inhibitors. They are not safe long term.

There's obviously more than one reason for esophageal strictures. Eosinophilic Esophagitis or EOE is another common cause. I bring this up because I do not have GERD but I do have several episodes of food bolus per year, due to strictures. Great explanation! I like that you used the actual tools for the demonstration.

you’re video has been very informative and helpful, I’m going to have this procedure done in a few weeks and I was very curious how it was done and I came across your video and thank you. I’m a little over two years from battling cancer in my throat and I have a lot of scar tissue and it’s been coming more difficult to swallow and I was told I may need to have a balloon placed in my throat. is there any advice you can give me and do you do a lot of patience with head and neck throat cancer? Thank you 😊

I’m currently struggling with this 😭😭my doctor said to take omeprozole to minus ulcers to be able to do this dilation but I can’t even keep the medicine down 😭😭😭I feel helpless and they don’t call me back

@@abhishekroy8646 Hey, so this summer I had surgery to remove the structure part and attach the two ends of the esophagus. It was successful and recovery went well. BUT now I am having procedures every week for the month of July, it is called “dilation therapy.” I can eat normally but still need dilations. Soo the surgery sort of worked?
