The connection you were speaking of is very much the person I have had this strong bond with for the last 12 yrs! I lost my 15yr old daughter in 2012 and he lost his best friend the day before my daughter passed. He reached out to me back then and our connection was soooo strong from the beginning. My favorite breed of dog is a markje Dutch dog. I worked at an animal shelter with my mother when I was 19 and there was the sweetest, fluffiest brown dog who was so gentle and well mannered. Everyone loved her. Her fur was widely overgrown and matted and she was just saved from a hoarders house and wasn’t available for adoption. Taking care of her in the kennel all the time was awesome and I grew so attached to her. I named her lady from lady in the tramp because she looked exactly like her and was so well mannered. Unfortunately I never got to adopt her because she started getting fostered by some people at the shelter and they decided to adopt her after they fostered her. But I’m just glad I got to bond with her and I hope she’s doing good and has the best owners ❤

This is one of the first times I've felt compelled to leave a comment, and I just wanted to say that, for me, the story being told by Pile 3 and Pile 2 completely resonates and I've had a feeling that he watches readings too since he's very spiritual, so that woman guiding us could be you! He's the rottwiler, I'm the golden retriever. He's a Virgo, I'm a Taurus. He was slightly older (23) when we met and I still acted a lot like a teenager despite being about to turn 20. I chose pile 4 and everything you said made sense and resonated. I have an ex who I dated for several years and we've both since moved on, but have tried maintaining contact. It's been a push pull, reverse and repeat kind of situation for a decade, and last week we had an argument as I was telling him all I wanted was a healthy, platonic relationship. The last few years he's been sending messages when he wants to be nostalgic but often flakes out when I ask to hang out as friends in person. His mind wanders sometimes and what he remembers can get too intense for him. I had to come to terms with moving on without him years ago, but I feel like he still silently struggles with this, hence why he comes and goes in my life as he pleases. I know he's not trying to be callous but that's how it's interpreted sometimes and I can't help but voice my frustration about it. I get flustered and feel dumb when I keep giving him grace and he goes on to repeat the same behaviour. I have firm boundaries but we also still deeply respect each other as individuals, I guess he just gets swept up in reminiscing and has selective memory - the grass is greener kind of state. I'm extra lucky that my current partner understands this dymanic, and that I can decipher the difference between a romantic soulmate and a platonic or cosmic soulmate. I also felt your sincerity when you were giving the example about having a dependent relationship with your bed for security and comfort. I understand that both literally and metaphorically. I have an addictive personality and vegging out to turn my brain off is familiar territory. When I get stressed out, my bed is my safe space, but I do my best to engage in healthy outlets like playing my piano, writing, or forcing myself to go outside and take pictures. So, thank you for that reminder and for sharing your wonderful gifts with us. I hope you find comfort in being able to share that, realize that, and knowing you're not alone.

Pile 4. He's literally a journalist who teaches communication at university. Travels out of the country for work and teaches Greek and Egyptian history for study abroad students. My Capricorn. This had me sobbing. Every detail .. idk how you channel this kind of energy. We are currently in that separation. Tried to reconnect a month ago but he went cold so I stepped back again.

Felt such a strong gravity to the first one and didn't even look at the others and wow did you nail that on the head. Recently there's been a surface level rekindling with my person that seemed to have an ulterior motive on their part then for some reason they went cold, and it just feels like my person is just indecisive and is scared of hearing how I feel now considering how I told them why I am walking away because of the way I was treated and it seemed she didn't want to accept that when we drifted. So yeah.
